    Ended on a high note

    Our project ended on a high note because of Ezad, our project manager. I was a very difficult client as I was 7 months pregnant when we started the project and 4 months post-pregnant upon completion. Ezad was responsive, honest, kind, and listened to all of my concerns. If I didnt like something or changed my mind (which happened often), he did not flinch. He often responded, What is going to make you happy? This is every womans dream question! Especially an emotional pregnant woman! Ezads commitment and dedication to our project resulted in a beautiful and functional forever home. Thank you Ezad!

    garage renovation

    I recently had my garage renovated by Norseman Construction. Project manager Robert was excellent to work with - friendly, professional, knowledgeable and diligent about keeping the project on schedule. All the trades Norseman brought in to work on the project were also very professional. Had a great experience during the design phase as well, working with Bryan and Shahid. Very happy with the results, and impressed all round with Norseman, thanks!

    Electrical & flooring

    We had Robert at Norseman in charge of rewiring our house to add numerous extra outlets and get rid of the last of the old knob & tube. They also put down wood flooring throughout the living room , dining room, kitchen & hall as a single piece. They did a good job, thanks

    Sunroom and porch renovation

    Our project manager, Alison, was extraordinary - highly competent, knowledgeable, accessible, personable, and relentless in advocating for us with the trades. She was always available to address any problem that developed and was masterly in figuring out appropriate ways to address them if they did. We also appreciated working with other members of the Norseman team: Shahid, Bryan, and Kris. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have had Alison as our project manager and can recommend both her and Norseman without reservation.

    3rd Story Expansion

    We hired Norseman after interviewing several contracting companies. The expanded our existing third floor, enclosing about 325 sq ft of old deck and roof, and making a new bedroom and gym. The job turned out fantastically thanks to the work of their team, our Project Manager Greg, and all involved. Interestingly, we did have a flood on our property in the winter during construction, unrelated to the 3rd story. Norsemen was extremely helpful in getting us emergency services (our insurer had none available) and completed the repairs. Nobody wishes for something like this to happen, but they made the best of our bad situation. In the end, they completed the 3rd story addition, did new floors/drywall/paint throughout the affected areas of the house, and repaired cabinetry. We are thankful for their team's responsiveness and hands-on approach and would recommend them to friends and family.

    Multiple Project Renovation

    Our multiple project reno with Norseman was completed about a month ago and we are beyond thrilled with the results! We hired them to completely renovate our kitchen, 2 bathrooms, build a new elevated back deck, and enclose our front porch and incorporate it into our indoor living space. The entire team of Norseman staff and trades people were fantastic from beginning to end! Always on time, always available to answer questions, respectful of our budget and high quality work. Our project manager, David, stepped in half way through our reno, as our previous PM had to leave for personal reasons. David took over seamlessly, and with such professionalism. He knew every aspect of our projects and was able to direct all the trades without interruption. He was diligent in checking on our house daily and making sure everything was running smoothly. He always answered all of our messages quickly, enthusiastically, and in detail. His many years of experience was obvious and was so appreciated! A special shout out also goes to Kevin (Vice-President), who was also at our weekly meetings. Always reassuring and kept everything on track. Our project was finished in the EXACT timeframe that was promised! We are absolutely in love with our beautiful new custom kitchen, new designer bathrooms, new elevated back deck, and new front room (previously the front porch)! Thank you David, Kevin and all of the Norseman team for making our old house into our new dream home! We give them 5 stars all the way!

    Basement Reno

    Working with Norseman on our basement renovation has been a pleasure. During the initial planning stages, Vanessa met with us multiple times to understand what we were looking for and made suggestions to keep the project within our budget. Once construction started, Ijeh, the project manager was our main contact. Ijeh, kept things moving along consistently and much of the project was finished ahead of schedule. We had to move out for a period of time as there was no heat or water, and Ijeh worked extremely hard to ensure the house was safe for us to move back into at the same time our rental contract was up. Ijeh provided regular updates via the Buildertrend app and phone calls. He offered solutions when unexpected challenges came up. We are very pleased with our new space, which includes a new concrete slab, new combi boiler, updated plumbing and electrical, relocated washroom, family room and fully equipped laundry area. We very much appreciate Norseman's approach of doing things right and ensuring all relevant building standards are met. We highly recommend Norseman and plan to work with them for future updates to our home.

    Front Porch & Basement Reno

    I am so happy with my new basement and front porch! The Norseman crew dealt with a lot of challenges with my job and kept me up to date all the way through. They were able to meet all their deadlines . The basement was gutted, waterproofed, new HVAC, furnace, hotwater heater, cold storage under porch, bathroom, laundry room , utility room, bedroom plus the front porch, new bay windows and front siding. I highly recommend them .

    Main Floor Renovations

    Whole home reno

    We had a great experience with our renovations and would recommend Norseman for any project. The key to the success of project was the PM they assigned, Ijeh, he kept things organized and running on time, and made sure all of the trades showed up when they were supposed to. On top of that all of the Norseman employees who came on site were professional respectful and did great work.
