We were extremely pleased with the work that Kurt and his team did in our backyard. He was very knowledgeable and gave great input into the design of the space. He worked with us to come up with a plan that met our needs, but was within our budget. The team was polite, worked hard, and cleaned up their mess before leaving. Kurt was on budget, and completed the project earlier than anticipated. The only thing that I could say that wasn't perfect was the lack of choice in stone. He has a preferred supplier and their stone is pretty expensive. He says he will only work with the best though, so don't choose him if you want to cheap out on stone :) Overall though, Kurt does fantastic work. We would use him again.

This firm is extremely professional in every way from the estimate to the invoice. Kurt and his team rebuit over 200 feet of garden walls at the front and back of my home, lifted/re-laid about 100 s.f. of interlock stone, created a new area using paving stones, cut the asphalt at the edges of the driveway and installed a soldier course of paving stones, and disposed of all surplus materials.,The workmanship is exceptional, the crew is very pleasant, courteous, neat/tidy and hardworking. Kurt provided valuable advice on the design of the front garden that resulted in a stylish design that is very impressive. Once on site I asked Kurt for an extra price to do an extra area of paving stones and his price was very reasonable., I requested changes in the design along the way that were accepted without question. Kurt adhered to his stated start and completion dates and his crew was on site for the entire period without interruption. My wife and I are thrilled with the work of this firm and would certainly recommend them to anyone. It is such a pleasure to deal with a firm with such skills, professionalism and integrity. if I could provide a higher rating then 10 I would do so. John M, Pickering

Kurt is not just another landscaper. He is a talented, very hard working young man, driven with an attention to detail, providing his personal, creative touch, and always willing to do what it takes to make sure that customer satisfaction is the first priority! From our first meeting with Kurt in discussing our landscaping plans, there was an immediate sense of comfort. He took the time to listen to our basic ideas, created a sketch and his vision and talent took over from there. He continued to surprise us, always keeping us informed of what his thoughts were and presenting us with interesting ideas throughout the project. Upon completion we were extremely happy. This was a large project and despite the lack of co-operation from Mother Nature, with the hard work and dedication of his crew, Kurt managed to complete the work ahead of schedule!

From our first meeting with Kurt, he was very open and informative about the possibilities of our landscape project. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but with Kurt's insight he was able to give us a clear picture of what our front, back and side yard projects were going to look like. His patience and accommodating nature were particularly appreciated as we were choosing stone types and colours. He even brought samples to ease our concerns and ensure that we were happy with our choices. Kurt is extremely professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and very knowledgeable in landscape design. Kurt and his team are highly professional and efficient in the work that they do. We had hired Distinctive Design to fix our terrible backyard. Every year it would be a swam due to the poor grading originally installed. Kurt was on time (to be that's being early), was professional, and provided the highest in quality work. I recently had Kirk of Distinctive Designs Landscaping tear out an very large poured cement front porch and install a new interlocking one. He also disigned a curved front garden wall with stone. Not only did he finish the job in a timely manner, but the final result is much more than I expected. Both jobs were professionally done at a price much lower than other quotes. When finished he completly cleaned up the work site which included power washing the driveway and removed any and all construction material. I would and have recommended him to many of my friends and neighbours.

Kurt did an amazing job. He was a pleasure to deal with, very professional, honest and hard working. The job was completed ahead of schedule and we are truly amazed by the results. It was nice to find a company that works hard to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend!
