We hired Kurt and his crew to completely landscape our front porch, driveway and front yard which included removal of the old porch and gardens. Unfortunately the job was delayed, but this was due to weather. The entire job took approx. 2 weeks which was right on target and the final cost of the project was exactly what was quoted initially which was the most competitive price of the companies we interviewed. Kurt and his team were very attentive to what we wanted and were more than willing to make any changes that we requested along the way and offered suggestions as well. They worked the entire day during the week which was refreshing given what we had heard about other companies. Kurt ensured us that if we had any concerns or issues following completion of the project that we could call him anytime which confirmed his dedication to his work. Overall we couldn't be happier with the finished product and will be hiring Kurt to landscape our backyard next year. We highly recommend Kurt and his team.

My husband and I hired Kurt to lay a flagstone patio in our backyard, to create and plant 2 new gardens, and to lay stone and stepping stones at the side of our home. He and his crew completed the job on time, they were extremely dependable, and were always pleasant to deal with. The end result was beautiful! I decided to sell my home and had to get it ready quickly. I needed to improve the curb appeal by repairing the stairs and porch and adding a border down the side of the driveway. Kurt was the only one who was willing to do it for me quickly. He rearranged some other things to accommodate my rush job. His crew pulled it off in the very tight timeframe and did a great job. They came out to give me a quote and I found there price very reasonable. Very professional from the get go and the work they did was the same. I would use these again and definitely refer them.

We had Distinctive Designs put in a backyard patio. Once the project was started, it was completed in a timely fashion. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the materials used to complete the project. We have received several compliments on our new patio, and will be looking for Kurt to give us a quote on our next job.

We hired Kurt to help with the terrible grade in your backyard. Kurt was very approachable, knowledgable, professional and offered suggestions when needed. He and his crew were always there when they said they would be and put in long days to complete the project. Kurt has checked in on the project several times since completion and I am very confident that should any issue arise in the future he will handle it promptly. I was initially upset about having to put in a retaining wall as I felt that it would make the yard feel smaller but now that it is in it is a beautiful focal point and the yard actually seems larger. We will definitely use him when we do our front yard in a couple years. I would highly recommend him to anyone and we are extremely happy with our backyard now.

The results are breathtaking and beyond our wildest imaginations. Kurt's workmanship and attention to detail are clear as the whole project looks phenomenal. Kurt stayed on his original quotation and started well in advance of his original prediction, which was a welcomed surprise. All in all, we love our new patio and are extremely pleased to recommend Kurt and his team. I would recommend Kurt and his team anytime. I moved into my house two years ago, and the backyard was a complete mess. It had been unattended to for quite some time, and needed a major overhaul. As I live in a corner house, my backyard is actually facing the street, and previously had a chain link fence (hampering any kind of privacy most people enjoy while in their own backyard). The back patio consisted of cracked cement slabs with overgrown weeds. I called Kurt and he had some great ideas on how to proceed. He researched bylaws for my fence, and presented a competitive quote to do the work. He started the project much earlier than anticipated, and completed the whole thing in a week (he completed the back patio, fence, driveway and a small walkway). He stayed on budget, was flexible when I asked for changes, and paid attention to detail. I’m so pleased with the outcome that I plan on asking them to do my next project, too.
