    Lead and Asbestos Testing

    I have used The Healthy Abode on two occasions. Several years ago, I requested testing to see whether the paint that was flaking and peeling off the brick walls of my 100-year-old semi might contain lead. Angelina came to take samples, clearly explained the process to me, provided reports promptly as promised, and patiently answered all of my questions. More recently, I needed to do some repairs that could disturb the very old insulation in my attic. Since I had no idea whether there might be vermiculite in the attic, I phoned the Healthy Abode again to request asbestos testing. Vince came the day after I called to take samples. He was equally friendly and professional, and, once again, the company provided reports exactly as promised. I am very happy with the services provided by Angelina and Vince and would recommend this company to anyone.

    Testing for mold.

    We had a problem with mold in the basement and contacted the people at The Healthy Abode. Responded by phone within a couple of hours and attended at our home (quite far out of their normal territory) the next day. Initial and final reports issued exactly when initially promised. In addition to the diagnostic, they were very informative with regards to remediation. I couldn’t had a better experience with a company then I had with The Healty Abode. Gold star in my book!

    Mold Testing

    The Healthy Abode were incredibly responsive, arriving for a site visit/inspection in one business day. Their tech was knowledgeable and friendly. The follow up reporting was quick and concise, their team readily available for follow up questions, offering valuable perspective and tips.

    Asbestos check

    The Healthy Abode made a point of giving us a quick appointment to get our ceiling tiles tested for asbestos, and they were knowledgeable and very fast.

    Great Experience

    Vince arrived on time, and took the needed samples. He was very knowledgeable about Asbestos testing and the materials that are in our house. Turnaround time was very quick (paid for 1 day test results, received them at the end of the next business day). I definitely recommend them and would use their services again.

    Great company and wonderful to work with

    I can’t thank Angelina and Vince enough for their guidance and professional advice when we bought our house. Obviously buying a house and getting it tested for Asbestos can be stressful, especially if you are like myself and have never dealt with it before.. but Vince and Angelina truly made it as good a experience as it could be as they guided us through the process and provideed wonderful advice. We did identify a small amount of asbestos in our house, but they helped educate me on exacly how to deal with it, helped educate me on the risks of it and what to look for in an abatemeny company to deal with it, and answered literally every question I through at them. They are a pleasure to deal with, very thorough and professional, and I would highly recommend them.

    Old Home Asbestos Testing

    Angelina and Vince from The Healthy Abode helped us test our newly acquired home for asbestos. They were easy to work with and very professional. Vince was very informative and educated us on asbestos testing and ontario regulations. We would recommend them to anyone interested in their services.

    Lead Paint and Asbestos testing

    Angelina and Vince were so helpful at putting my panicked mind at ease regarding the potential lead paint and asbestos in our old home (1932). We set up a Saturday appointment and Vince did a walk around of our house and suggested what should be tested and what we didn't have to worry about. He took 3 asbestos samples from our living room popcorn ceiling and lead paint samples from door/window trim, front porch railings and basement floors. Vince gave us so much helpful information including some tips for our squeaky floors! We learned so much from him and really appreciate the time he took with us, it was worth every penny! I received the results by email really quickly (on the 4th business day) and although we do have asbestos and lead paint it's not as daunting as we once thought. Angelina gave me a ton of advice on how to proceed with our lead paint trim and really put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend and won;t hesitate to give them a call if we need them again.     Professional air quality testing

    We hired The Healthy Abode twice to conduct mold testing and were very impressed with their professionalism and enthusiasm. Even though the probable source of mold was in the basement, Angelina and Vince inspected every corner of the house, even the attick. The reports were delivered promptly and were helpful. Angelina was also happy to answer follow up questions. Overall, it was a pleasure to deal with these people.
