    Conditional House Offer - Asbestos testing for vermiculite insulation

    In March 2012 we had a home inspection on a house that we wanted to buy. The home inspector found suspicious insulation in the attic that could have been asbestos. Estimates given by the inspector was $300 for testing with 4 day turnaround. I found Angelina using google search. She was very friendly and reasured me to have the results within 24 hrs at one third the estimated cost. She personally picked up the sample and sent it out for testing. Within 24 hrs she delivered the results via e-mail as she had promised. She was very efficient and I would highly recommend her. Our real estate agent was so impressed that he took her information and will be using her services in the future.

    Mold Testing

    Many thanks to Angelina and The Healthy Abode. Before doing some major renovations to address a leak and renovate our basement we had Angelina come out to test for mold and other harmful substances. She was knowledgeable, prompt and had a very pleasurable demeanor. She took samples and sent them for testing with results back to us in 2 business days. Very Impressed!! She took time to explain the results, which I appreciate very much. Thanks alot Angelina!!

    Asbestos testing

    I met Angelina with a sampe of attic insulation from my house. Angelina was able to meet me at her office with very short notice. We signed the contract (not done by other companies) and I was promised the report within 48 hours (better than the 4 day turnaround from other companies). The rate was very reasonable (better than competitors). But better than promised I received the report via email in just over 24 hours with a complete written breakdown of the material content (compared with a mere verbal report over the phone from a previous company). I can then show proof to contractors, etc of the safety issues. In our case we were fortunate to not have asbestos and could proceed with our project a day ahead of schedule. Great service, and good follow up. A+

    Asbestos in my basement.... The Healthy Abode

    We're fist time home buyers, and the house we purchased was relatively old and we we're going to start renovations on the basement. My husband had suggested we have the basement tested for asbestos before we start and so we called The Healthy Abode. Angelina was amazing, she explained everything thoroughly. When we got the results back (we had asbestos) Angelina sent us a list of companies that she recommended a long with additional literature for us to review. The Healthy Abode even followed up with us to see how we were doing a month later. This Company is amazing and compassionate....... They were always willing to answer any of our questions and went above and beyond with doing additional research for us to review. I as a Mother would recommend this company to anyone and everyone!

    DNA testing on a bug

    Angelina, of the Healthy Abode, answered the phone the first time I called and came out the next day to pick up the bug that I wanted tested. She was professional and compassionate. She sent the bug to be DNA tested. The test took a couple days longer than planned on account of Civic Holidays, but despite this mishap I would absolutely recommend the Healthy Abode for the same service I received, as the customer service dealing was wonderful. After the results came in and further action was needed on my part, the Healthy Abode phoned the City of Toronto to do further research on my behalf to find out further options for actions to clear up my bug problem. I am in a row house and wanted to know how to go about getting my non-English speaking neighbours on board with my extermination plans.

    Asbestos Testing

    Amazing customer service, really above and beyond. The representative came to my house, removed a sample and processed the testing all within a few days of my initial call. She even took two samples just to be safe. She also explained everything so clearly, because she could tell I was worried about asbestos around my kids, and calmed me down. I would totally recommend Healthy Abode for any problems you have with Asbestos.
