    DSR Testing

    Highly recommend the Healthy Abode. Angelina was incredible to deal with even before we hired them to do our DSR testing. She was friendly, informative and spent time to explain the process as well as post testing recommendations. Very responsive and Vince who took the samples was also great. Very professional experience all-around.

    Highly Recommended

    Angelina and Vince provided excellent service all around. I booked the apt on the phone with Angelina, she explained the entire process and when Vince arrived exactly what we discussed happened - no surprises. Vince was on time, friendly, professional, efficient and cleaned after himself (he took many samples). We were given a 5 business day estimate on getting the results. Despite the country being in a state of emergency, we got our results with in 3 business days. When I called Angelina to discuss, she was patient, clear and happy to spend more time going over any results we weren't sure about. I highly recommend The Healthy Abode and as a result will take their recommendations very seriously.

    Asbestos Testing

    Paid a base fee plus per sample cost: 3 samples per item tested, for 6 in total samples on two different surfaces. Professional, timely, and quick answers. Very thorough explanation. I would use them again.

    Asbestos Test - Harbour Square

    The Healthy Abode performs asbestos tests which was required by my condo prior to doing any construction work. I dealt with Angelina who was terrific -- always available, set up the appointment quickly and efficiently. The report was prepared in a very timely manner, and provided the info the condo needed. In addition, Angelina assisted in providing sensible advice on how to deal with the results in order to deal effectively with the Condo board and help my move forward with my condo.

    Asbestos and mold testing

    Excellent job by The Healthy Abode! There was a water damage in my condo apartment after a water leak from the above floor. The contractors (hired by the insurance company) were very neglectful and allowed asbestos-containing material and mold to be left in the apartment after the water damage remediation was over. I contacted The Healthy Abode, and Angelina and Vince were very helpful in making all the necessary arrangements and testing for asbestos and mold. Their measurements were carefully executed and the reporting was thorough. I hired other construction contractors to remove the mold and asbestos, and The Healthy Abode againd helped me to confirm asbestos/mold-free environment after this work was completed. I would recommend everybody to use their services.

    Thorough Inspection of an Old Home

    The Healthy Abode was a great company to work with. They were timely, responsive and very thorough with making sure our old home was safe to move in. Highly recommended!

    did air quality test on my home yoga studio

    I have a housemate who was experiencing congestion and wanted to know if the air may be an issue. I contacted Angelina at Healthy.. and she helped me understand the testing procedure that could give me some answers. Angelina answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed! Which was good as I had no idea about this kind of testing. I felt good having her team come into my home and yoga studio. They were helpful and very reassuring. It's weird to think your home may be unhealthy in some way and they helped me know what I needed to do about basic common problems with mold and air quality. I felt really confident in taking steps after they sent fabulous suggestions. They are super kind and caring, everyone I dealt with. I was really impressed and all my worries were over, really cool.     Asbestos inspection and analysis

    I hired the Healthy Abode team to come to my house and check for asbestos risk. The whole team was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and helpful, and I could tell that they are experts in this area. Not only that, but they gave me tips on other house related items outside of the scope of the job and addressed a number of follow up points I had. Excellent customer service!     Great experience

    I brought in the Healthy Abode to test for Asbestos in my home and produce a DSS. What set them apart from everyone else I had quote was the level of detail in describing the process to me. The owner, Angelina, walked me through the process when I called for a quote, much unlike the other firms who seemed to just want me off the phone. When the two technicians came they walked my through the where the sampled, where asbestos and other substances typically are found and gave me great advice on abatement (they don't offer this service unfortunately). Since the DSS was produced and my remodel has started I uncovered a couple potential sources of asbestos that were not visible during their initial visit. Angelia offered to send her team to come and collect the samples without charging for a site visit. She has also been very detailed in answering questions even since the DSS was produced. I strongly recommend this company. Update: ======== Despite the last time I bought their services was a couple months ago, the owner, Angelina, still makes time to answer questions and provide advice as "suspicious" materials are uncovered during demo. Thanks to her, I have a lot more peace of mind while undertaking my project.

    Asbestos, Mold and Lead Testing

    Angelina & Vince are absolutely amazing!!! They have helped me several times over the past few years and have always been extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have used companies in the past to test for mould and found that I was always scared into thinking the worst as those companies also did remediation and were hoping to generate business. That is not what The Healthy Abode is - they just give you the facts; they don’t sugar coat but they also don’t fearmonger. I can’t say enough good things about them, they are incredible to deal with, very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. They definitely know what they are doing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!!
