I had to have a rear bearing kit installed and fixed in my dryer. Atiar was great, he opened my dryer, showed me the problem and got it fixed right away!

He was friendly, efficient and cost effective. He removed his footwear at the door and showed up on time. He told us the cost right away and fixed the problem within an hour. We really appreciated him coming so quickly.

Fan motor at back of freezer started making really loud noise. Guy came in and replaced the motor, all good now! Expensive fix for a crappy GE, but it'll add another 5-10 on the fridges life. Very nice and professional!

Called on Sunday evening and Atiar came right away to look at our fridge. Immediately diagnosed the problem and told us what was required and the cost up front. Very informative and professional. Thank you for coming to our rescue on such short notice and getting our fridge working again so efficiently.

First the good news. Atiar was able to come by to our house just a couple of hours after I called him--very prompt service. Also, his charges are very reasonable. Now the bad news. Our 20 year-old refrigerator was having some problems: 1. the ice-maker was working very sporadically, and 2) the temperature in the main part of fridge seemed to be higher than normal (I had bought a cheap $3 thermometer from Home Depot and it was reading about 46 degrees Fahrenheit, much higher than the recommended levels of 35-37 F. Atiar discounted the reading from my cheap thermometer; and said the temperature in the main part of the fridge was normal--and his method for determining that was to briefly touch items in the fridge with his hand! His diagnosis was that a new ice maker was needed and so I agreed that he should order that part (it would take 4-5 days to arrive). Between the time of his first visit and the arrival of the part I borrowed a better thermometer from my neighbor and I also purchased a special Taylor refrigerator thermometer from Amazon (they are very cheap, by the way). All three thermometers now read the same thing--the temperature in the main part of the fridge was now at 50 F--much too high. So, I no longer trusted Atiar's diagnosis. I had also decided that it was time to buy a new fridge. So I called him. The new ice-maker had arrived, and I told him that I no longer wanted it as I was buying a new fridge. I offered to reimburse him for the time he had spent ordering the part, and any expense associated with returning the part, but he declined. Like I said above, his charges are very reasonable! However, I do believe that Atiar mis-diagnosed the problem with my fridge. Hence the poor rating. Looking at all of the other reviews, he does appear to know his stuff and provide very good service. But not this time.

had issue with the element of my Kenmore Stove. Atiar came by diagnosed it very quickly. Next he ordered the parts and installed it for me. Much appreciate the service Atiar. Great job.

Check on washer. Another condo in our building had theirs leak and cause major issues. Atiar explained everything he did and was very professional and friendly. Gave me an honest opinion on the washer and its lifespan. This our second experience with him. He previously fixed our fridge. Would recommend him highly.

Atiar is one of the most prompt and courteous tradespeople I have dealt with. Most recently, he helped us fix the spark module on our gas stove and has also helped fix our washing machine (wasn't spinning) in the past. I would absolutely recommend him for appliance repair!

Atiar did an excellent job. He was very polite and he quickly resolved our problem with the washer. We are very satisfied. I wouldrecommend this company and Atiar to anyone.

This is the second time we have called Atiar from Hightech Appliance Service, and both times we have received quick, thorough, polite and quality service. Atiar has fixed both our washer and dryer. He is experienced enough to understand and diagnose the problems and fix them (both the washer and dryer have been working perfectly since his visits), He is also personable enough to answer all my questions. His hours are quite good and he has been excellent about arriving at the scheduled time. He has also been very sincere in that he quotes the cost to make a visit when you call, and after the diagnosis, he informs you of the price to have him fix the problem. No random cost surprises. I would definitely recommend Hightech Appliance Service to others.
