    Mold Removal in attic

    Home Inspector had detected mold in the attic of the home I just purchased. He said that the bathroom vent was not exhausted properly and the moisture was venting into the attic. I contacted The Mold Guy because my agent had recommended them. The staff I spoke to were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They provided a quote over the phone and were able to come out early the next morning. They were punctual and friendly and explained the process. They removed all the mold and insulation that had been damaged. They provided before and after pictures and also a report on the removal which included their recommendations. They also provided a certificate that the mold had been removed. I was extremely pleased with the service I received and happy that they were able to book an appointment so quickly. Both the office staff and mold removal individuals were very helpful and professional and provided excellent customer service. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring mold removal. They were friendly, quick and very reasonably priced.

    Great quick service!

    We needed to our new house checked for asbestos before we did any renovations. Drove came and was very helpful. He walked through the whole house with us and checked for other mold. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We also got our test results back quickly! We were very happy with this service and would use them again if need be.

    Mold inspection

    The Mold Guy customer services was amazing. They had someone come in super quick and the results were super quick too! I'm happy to say we passed the Air Quality - but will be suggesting The Mold Guy to everyone in need!

    Air testing

    I was worried about concerns of mold in my basement. Kay clearly explained the process of an air test, the costs and booked in an appointment the next day for me. Drove, came by on time and was very professional and explained the process with a walk around and gave us general tips. A pleasure to deal with.

    Mold removal

    I can't say enough about The Mold Guy! We had such a great experience with the team from beginning to end. Within 24 hours, we were booked for mold removal within our cold cellar. The team came right ontime, were very informative and thorough. They even mopped the floor where they walked to get to the cold cellar. I am very impressed. Thank you Mold Guy!

    Mold control Attic

    I recently used this company to clear the mold in our attic. . I got 2 other quotes from other companies and their quote was quite competitive. Kay explained the process and answered all my probing questions. The team of Abdul & Jamie arrived early in an unmarked vehicle (very discreet, so as not to alarm the neighbours) did a great job, explained the root cause of the mold and left within the 3 hour window they promised. I received a "certificate" that the attic was clear of mold the same afternoon, with pictures showing before & after conditions. The only small downside - One of the ceilings in the room below had a nominal (18") crack - possibly someone stepped on the drywall. But I had discussed this - as their quote mentioned this as a possibility. Kay had assured me this happened only in rare cases and it seems I was one of those rare cases. Not something catastrophic that I couldn't fix with some spackle & ceiling paint.

We are aware and warn our customers that cracks may occur, the ceiling hasn't been walked on in 20, 30, 40 years or so if ever and the ceiling can flex, there's no way around it when you have attic mold.     Mold inspection

    The inspector was friendly, efficient and followed all COVID protocols. We had our results within a day. Easy to work with, they know what they are doing, and would recommend.

    Honest pricing, good service

    My wife and I recently purchased a house with existing mold issues in the basement and the attic. We had a different contractor handle the basement for $6000, and they suggested the price would be higher for the attic because we would potentially need to remove our roof etc. This company (the moldguy) treated our attic thoroughly for mold for $2500. I would highly recommend themoldguy for honest pricing and good service.
