    Attic Mold Removal

    Everyone that I dealt with at The Mold Guy were very helpful and professional. It was a stressful moment when I found out that we had mold in the attic and the house had to be listed. We didn't foresee this and wasn't ready to change the schedule for listing the house. I called The Mold Guy and Kay there was able to help. She was very understanding and was able to work on her end to accommodate my immediate need. She arranged her team to come to my house the very next day (Sunday) such that we didn't have to change our listing schedule! The guys came and they were very professional; they made sure their work area was kept clean and when they were finished, you wouldn't even notice they came. Kay was able to provide me with the certificate of clearance and the before and after pictures shortly after. I would definitely recommend them to others as they are great to work with; all the staffs I came across were consistently helpful.

    Mold Remediation in Attic

    My initial contact with the company was with Kay, who was very friendly and helpful in explaining everything about mold remediation for my attic. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment and was pleased with the servicemen. I received before and after photos and a letter to confirm everything. Overall, the cost of services seemed reasonable in comparison to other companies that I had called.

    Inspection of mold in bathroom and furnace room

    Found small amount of mold in my bathroom and laundry room behind the baseboards. Removed it myself using proper precautions. Then a month later found mold behind the baseboards in my furnace room. Started freaking out, thinking my whole house is full of mold (I am athsmatic and have severe allergies). I checked homestars for mold remediation companies and called The Mold Guy. Lucas came by the day after I called and checked out the areas I was concerned about. He said the mold present wasn't a lot and that from seeing where I had previously removed the mold from the bathroom and laundry area, that I can definitely remove it myself. To just do exactly what I did then. He gave me some very helpful tips for both my bathroom and furnace room and my home in general regarding humidity control. Well worth every penny. So refreshing to deal with down to earth, honest and practical professionals. Thanks for your help and I will most definitely recommend you guys to friends and family.

    Attic mold removal

    I am very impressed with the work done by this company in removing attic mold. Ross and his team were very professional in completing the task with superb results. The team was careful in the preparation and cleanup of the work area and did not leave any mess. Kay was very helpful in answering my questions and keeping me updated with the schedules. Both have been very helpful in recommending additionals contractors to attend to the roof ventilation and insulation needs, as well as finding an electrician and general contractor on short notice. I do not hesitate to recommend this company for mold detection and removal.

    Mold Inspection

    Our master bathtub was leaking into our kitchen. Ross showed up on time and immediately began detecting the moisture levels of different areas. After the readings he cut a hole in the ceiling (with my permission) and inspected for water damage. He identified the problem and told me the water damage was contained mostly in the drywall. He recommended us to have a plumber fix the issue and confirmed that there wasn't a mold problem in the ceiling (which was a huge relief for me). Afterward, he taped up the hole and asked me if he could take a look around the basement for signs if water damage. Of course, I agreed. He basically did a mini home inspection for my basement and attic and gave me tons of recommendations without extra charge. Ross was very patient and knowledgeable and most importantly he was honest. He told me how some companies use peoples’ fears to upsell their services. The reason I use Homestars today is because I’m so sick of dishonest contractors (and there are so many these days). Ross confirms that there are still good people out there…

    Inspection of basement

    Between Kay, the dispatcher and Ross, the inspector it was easy and efficient to coordinate an inspection of my basement. Ross is very knowledgeable with respect to home inspection. He was able to determine that while there are some water management issues, there is no mould. I was quite relieved to hear this finding. I was even more impressed that there was no charge for this prompt and courteous service. I would recommend the Mould Guy to everyone.

    Check basement mold

    Just moved into our dream home and noticed a wall in one of the bedrooms was bubbly. I contacted The Mold Guy and Ross was able to come by the next day. It was mold, but not very serious. Not toxic. Ross was GREAT & very PROFESSIONAL. This is a company that cares about it's reputation and will strive to ensure a happy customer. I will definitely recommend The Mold Guy and will call him again when we are ready to remove the mold. Soon! Thank you

    Removal of mold. Walls taken down and search for any areas that might have been affected in a basement.

    Extremely satisfied with this company. I was recommended to call them and they were very pleasant to deal with. They are located in Toronto yet more than willing to drive to Orangeville to help us out. A date was worked out to accommodate me and 3 workers came out. They used proper equipment and protected all other areas of my home. The workers were extremely pleasant young men who worked very hard and made sure when they left that everything was clean and back to normal. They even helped me out by carrying a filing cabinet out of my house. And, offered any other assistance. Price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend The Mold Guy. Great Experience a a pleasure to deal with all of the Staff from the Office to the workers !

    Wet drywall

    Moved in to new house. Full inspection was done for purchase. Kids started using bath tub and a month later was in finished basement and saw some drywall bubbling around a stack build out. It was very wet. I was poking my finger through it and then cut a piece out to see what was going on and the drywall had black mold all over it. Covered it up and made the call to the mold guy. They came in to inspect. Context the job and we decided to go with them. All done in a day and cleaned up.

    Mold

    Ross was excellent, came to our home and right away, he knew the issues causing the mold. Thank you so much for helping us out. I would definitely use The Mold Guy again
