    Replacing lead water pipe with copper

    We purchased a 100 year old house 6 months ago knowing it had been neglected and required many repairs and upgrades. We have used HomeStars tradespeople where possible and have been very satisfied. Vitaliy responded to us immediately and carried out the work of replacing our 1/2" lead pipe with a 1" copper one joining it to the City's existing 1/2" lead pipe... and we have made application under the City lead pipe replacement program to have their pipe replaced with a 1" copper pipe, which is a free service. Vitaliy's crew excavated in our basement and in our garden and then performed a torpedo procedure to replace the lead pipe. The job took one day, the crew were efficient, and cleaned up carefully.. they did a great job.

    Blocked drain and broken main stack pipe

    Vitali and his technician were so fast to come to our home. They identified the problems ( blocked sink drain and broken cast iron main stack). They did the complete job next day ( which included re-cementing the basement floor). The work was done so quickly, fantastic cleanup job and a very fair price! Highly recommend this company!

    Clay Pipe Replacement - Absolutely Hassle-Free

    Our old clay pipes were broken and causing backups inside our home, we called Master Drain & Water Works and they quickly and tidily took care of the problem for us - it was a big job and we were not inconvenienced at all because of their expertise. Removing sections of our driveway, replacing with all brand new pipes, making recommendations on how to troubleshoot for future problems, they were friendly, professional and TIDY. Put everything back the way they found it. Highly highly recommend.

    Lead water main replacement

    Vitaliy and co. replaced our old lead water main with 1" copper. Quoted the day after I called him. Did the work on-time and professionally. Cleaned up any mess. Overall nicely done work!

    Really want to deal with these people!

    Experiencing a sewer back up, Vitaliy sent a repairman out within 90 minutes. He promptly cleared the sewer pipe. Diagnostics revealed roots had clogged the sewer drain. We scheduled work to remove the blockage and install a valve to prevent future sewer back-up. This was professionally and carefully done. Vitaliy did all the paperwork for us to receive the $1200 City of Toronto rebate. Around this same time we discovered water dripping into the basement from a previously faulty installation of a new kitchen. Within a day a plumber came and worked under very cramped conditions to repair it, saving us having to cut a hole in the adjacent bathroom to repair it. All work is reasonable priced and the level of expertise and professionalism is unmatched. Finally, because traps in older sewer lines outside the house are a constant risk for future problems, we have contracted him to remove the trap and replace with new pipe. We were so lucky to contract with Master Drain and Water Works and recommend them to you without reservation.

    Clay Pipe Replacement

    We had an old clay pipe replaced by Walter and are very pleased with the results. We were reluctant to do the work because of concerns about damaging landscaping and the front garden but they were surgical and very precise. They kept the worksite clean, executed meticulously and finished early. Fees were competitive. Would highly recommend and use them again.

    Drain replacement and lowering and water pipe replacement

    We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Vitaliy and his team at Master Drain & Water Works. We are preparing for the lowering and underpinning of our basement in downtown Toronto and were referred to Master Drain & Water Works by New Depths Underpinning Inc. to investigate the depth we could achieve with our existing drains. Vitaliy first attempted to do a drain video camera inspection, but wasn’t able to get too far because of an old clay trap that was still in place under our front porch. Vitaliy explained the risks associated with this old plumbing and suggested we replace the trap and main drain pipe (which was also clay) while the drain was being lowered. Vitaliy helped us to understand his professional opinion, but we did not at all feel pressured. Walter and Walter handled the job, which involved working 3+ days outside over what has been the coldest week of the season. Once in the ground, the Walter’s realized our water pipe was lead and leaking. They replaced that too and Vitaliy provided us with clear instruction about the City’s Priority Lead Water Service Replacement Program, which was super helpful. The Walter’s were hardworking, friendly, tidy, on time, and kept us up to speed about the project’s progress. Vitaliy also kept in close contact – discussing where things were at and how to proceed. This basement renovation is a huge undertaking and we’re so grateful to have engaged such transparent, component, and reasonable professionals.

    Professional Service and Great Value

    We had Vitaliy and his team replace our pipes and also install a backwater valve in our basement. His team is very knowledgeable and professional and the price can't be beat. He was also very helpful when we needed some help in respect to a toilet replacement. He spent his time helping us and we couldn't be happier with him. If you're looking for a decent, trust worthy and hard working plumber, Vitaliy is your guy.

    Lowering of sewer pipe and replacement/relocation of water main

    Great service. I've used Vitaliy twice in the past month to do some work to coincide with basement lowering and underpinning. Crews were polite, on time, and very efficient. Vitaliy explained both processes very clearly in advance and the work was exactly as described. Overall excellent experience.

    Unblock drain

    I’ve been using Vitaliy for several years and the work is exceptional every time for an affordable and fair price. Workers are very polite, careful and clean. I Highly recommend their service.
