Do not hire this company!!!! My fridge stopped cooling and I needed to get it fixed ASAP. $80 initial fee for Visit which seemed reasonable. Repair guy shows up tells me he forgot his invoice book and will come back in an hour. He returns and tells me the repair will cost $280 to fix the issue. He did not even look at the fridge and told me he knew the issue and it would cost $280. Paid by debit because he does not accept credit card. I then asked him what he was gonna fox and he wouldn’t tell me. Asked him to stop and leave my house. Of course he said he could not refund the $280 even though he did no work. Beware of this company!!!

BE AWARE - this company's practices are fraudulent and misleading. They have a very carefully curated image online, but dig a bit deeper and you will see person after person (including me) who got taken for hundreds of dollars. I called for someone to look at my washing machine to see if it could be fixed or replaced. The tech did not diagnose the issue correctly, made me pay for service up front, inlfated cost of parts, and then left me with a machine that is not working. Calls and letters to customer service have not resulted in a resolution. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY.

This company are a clearly is the trickery business. Exactly as the other reviews here (which I wish I read before booking) state, exact same MO of a $90 assessment fee, then within one minute of being in my house that goes up to $280, but that new quote should also fix. The serviceman then mislead me multiple times on how he crafted the invoice to make me incrementally agree to more and more. Once I realized he ran my credit card for more than he said he was going to, I cancelled the remaining work but was advised they could not refund my card (within the hour) but instead they would mail me a cheque? NEVER AGAIN!!!

Appliance Repair Team Inc Horrible experience with this company. I called about a problem with my fridge. On the phone they told me that the service call will cost me $80 but when technichian arrived he asked for $280+tax just to start to work. Then he told me that he doesn't accept Creadit cards, only cash or Debit. After 30 min of work he told me that all is fixed and left. But that was just beginning of my troubles. The next day I realized that nothing was actually fixed and the fridge has the same problem as before. Moreover, we found some extra screws and a plastic piece that he did not properly re-assemble when finishing up his work. When I called customer service to complain, they just advised me that I need to replace the compressor which basically costs the same as a new fridge. I called customer service 3 more times trying to speak with a supervisor to resolve the matter, but they merely gave me excuses and promised that the technician would come back to fix the error, and that the supervisor will call me back but both did not happen. Summary: DISHONEST COMPANY. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

We are having a new roof on our house and the roofers moved the dryer vent. Our 4 year old Miele dryer would not heat. Service technician assessed problem as new heater assembly required and billed $801.02. When roofers adjusted the vent the dryer worked again. I notified Appliance Repair Team that part was not required and requested a partial refund. I was offered a refund of $503.00 and asked to waive any further action. I argued that a $320.00 labour charge for twenty minutes and an incorrect assessment was unacceptable. The customer service agent was unyielding and appeared quite experienced in dealing with complaints of over billing. I would not recommend the Appliance Repair Team.

Worse company ever. Looked at my fridge and said worse case scenario would be $500. He took it apart and then informed me that it would $1850 plus tax and labor on top. I said no as it seemed quite extreme for his explanation on the repairs. It didn't make sense. So he put it back together and then charged me $280 plus tax. Refused to take a credit card yet on their website it states that they do. I wished we would have researched them first and noticed all the horrible reviews about this company, but it was a last minute issue and had to get someone out quickly. $300 lesson. Seems they do this often. Unfortunately, my fridge is still not repaired and will have to call another company once again and another service call fee. Do not use them. Very disappointing. Never use this company. They are dishonest

We had our Whirlpool fridge/freezer break down and they came in via Whirlpool as the service repair 3rd party contractor. They replaced the compressor, yet a month later freezer portion of fridge still doesn't work and temperature in fridge fluctuates constantly. Can't get them to come back and fix it even though it's supposed to be under warranty considering service was done only a few weeks ago. Buyer Beware Big Time!! Should've checked out their reviews on this site first before agreeing.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They sent a Technician who clearly did not know anything about refrigerators or their repair. He spent 10 min looking at the fridge with no detailed diagnosis and charged me $290 for absolutely nothing. The fridge still did not work and I ended up fixing myself. Customer Service is rude and does nothing except give excuses as to why you cannot get a refund from this entirely useless organization. They are fraudulent, misrepresent services and should not be in business!!!

WARNING, avoid this company. They will charge a "dispatch fee" of $80 but technician will then ask for $280+tax for (a less than thorough 20 min) inspection and diagnosis. Parts (huge mark-up) and any additional service will be extra. Thankfully, didn't get the repair but lost on the inspection. Read the reviews... embarrassed to say I didn't do my normal due diligence just wanted to get the appliance working.

Do not use. They arrived late, did not call 15 minutes beforehand as promised, and as soon as the guy arrived, he couldn't wait to leave and complained that it was not air conditioned and it was too hot. Then he left. That's what $80 gets you with this company.
