    Dishwasher Repair

BIG TIME REEPING Do not use Appliance Repair Team under any circumstances. They will quote a reasonable rate for a technician to be dispatched to your home which in MY case was $88.00 but once they r in real misguiding accelerates. They will get you to sign a form. You will think you are signing for the repairs for $280.00 plus taxes but this is just for them to look at the appliance. It's ridiculous and was shocked to then have to pay $280.00 for 5 minutes spent by this technician to diagnose. We were misinformed and MISGUIDED. Do yourself a big favor and avoid The Appliance Repair Team and possibly be aware they use other names as well. Good luck to all needing a repairman and be willing to wait for a reputable serviceman.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their website looks great but I wish I had read the reviews on Home Stars before calling them to service my cooktop. They do not care about customer service, only getting as much money as they can. An $80 call out fee immediately became $280 and I had no confidence in the technician at all. We were quoted almost $1000 for a replacement part, which was obviously not needed because the stovetop is now working again. Please do the research I should have done and find a reputable company to do your repair work.

Do not be fooled by its website

My range oven fan made noise and I searched online to find this company with its fancy website. I thought it was a good one. I called them and they said the service fee was 80$. Upon the technician's arrival, he increased to 280$. He said the problem was the fan control board and insisted me ordering a 450$ control board. It was almost the price of a new range. He assured me it was the only problem. It was a rental unit that I had to solve the problem and let him do it. He came back with a new board and said there was another problem and asked me to buy a main board. I refused and called their customer service. They said they would refund me the 280$ service fee. When I reached them, they only refund 80$ and I refused. They just want to get maximum from you. In addition, the tenants complained the technician did not follow covid-19 protocol.

    Appliance repair

I paid Appliance RepairTeam $90 for an estimate to repair my GE refrigerator. The quote was for $2240 plus tax. When I said it was too much they reduced it to $1980 plus tax. They said I needed a new compressor and the part was very expensive. I said I need to think about it. I called another repair company who are recommended by GE and they came to give an estimate. They said I only needed a new inverter board and the estimate was $240 total including tax and service call. Do not trust Appliance Repair Team.

Dishwasher repair - avoid at all costs

When we booked we were told that it will cost $80 for technician to come to our home to look at the dishwasher and tell us the problem. After inspection the technician will give us a quote. The problem with our dishwasher was that it was making a huge noise. The technician (Gurjeet) came and said that he will service it and fix the noise. He said it will cost $250 plus tax. We agreed and asked him a couple of times that the fee he is charging is for fixing the noise and he said yes. He took 30 minutes to do service and informed us that the noise has been fixed but asked us not to turn the dishwasher on for 6 hours as he has applied some kind of glue to a part. He also said if the noise comes back in a few days or weeks, we will have to order a part. So he left clearly saying that noise has been fixed due to his service. When we turned the dishwasher on after 6 hours, the noise was pretty much there, no change. When we called them the next morning, they wouldn’t listen and said we had agreed to the service. Instead they further asked us to buy parts worth more than $650 plus taxes. They tell you one thing when you book and another when they arrive for service. And they go suddenly from $80 to $250. Also when we called the customer service, they were rude and tried to convince that the technician has explained every thing properly and it was our misunderstanding. Basically their practice is to mislead people and to convince the customers to pay for something that is not needed. Avoid this company at all costs. $288 have gone down the drain on this unnecessary services which did not fix the problem.

    Dishwasher repair

Was not told the repair might not work. After the repairman finished he told me not to turn on power for 8 hours for glue to dry. When i turned on power the next day to try the machine nothing worked. When I called the company back, they would not come back to check that everything was put back correctly. The only way they would come back is if we have another $600 part replaced. I think this is shoddy work!

    Do not hire this company!!!

Didn’t read reviews before calling and regret it. Thought they seemed professional with large SEO spend on Google and a helpful woman who arranged the call and asked the right questions. The guy who turned up had limited tools, no knowledge on how to install appliances and was using YouTube to look up what to do. Absolutely appalling! I ended up having the tell the guy what to do in order for him to finish up and get out of the house. After he was gone I had to redo the attachment to the dishwasher as it was leaking. This was a simple install of a brand new appliance and their team was not qualified to do it. Biggest waste of $200 spent just to get the guy out of my house. DO NOT USE THEM.

RUDE repair man and customer service

Repair man was aggressively RUDE and condescending and didn't want to answer any questions. I phoned the office right after he left, politely told them what happened and was told the manager would call me first thing the next morning. Nobody called and even when I called again the next day I was pushed off again until my final call (when I was told the manager left for the weekend and would call me on Monday. I guess the $700 repair job wasn't worth calling back an unhappy customer within 4 days. Worst technician/repair man and company I've ever dealt with.
