We hired M. Scott Home Improvements to lay down new concrete between our houses, as well as new concrete pathways in our respective backyards, Without hesitation, we can honestly say this was a very thoughtful crew. We appreciated the tidiness, consideration and professionalism of Mike and his cheerful gang. They were very considerate about noise and made accommodations to suit our needs. From start to finish, Mike and his team were exceptional. Mike took the time to evaluate our options, made recommendations and was detailed in his explanation of the project. He provided a written estimate, started on time and worked consistently, without delays, until the job was completed. His team is professional and experts - they did not take any shortcuts. I will highly recommend Mike to my friends, family and colleagues with pride. Absolutely full marks - we had 4 quotes and Mike felt right and both my neighbor and I have nothing but high praise for the job - well worth the money. Thanks, Mike and team.

Mike & team were punctual & professional. They replaced our mutual driveway (concrete) and our back patio (interlock). They kept us informed throughout the job and responded to requests we had. The finished job looks good. They came back immediately to address minor settling of interlock. Very positive experience, would hire them again.

Can't say enough about Mike's team. Fast, professional, thorough work, great communication throughout the process. The basement slab was smooth and level, and their prep work was extensive and thorough. Their quote was the most reasonable of the three I obtained. Highly recommended.

We hired Mike to remove and rebuild the concrete block retaining walls of our basement walkout. Mike was one of three quotes we received and in addition to being the most competitive, his customer service was great. Mike answered all of my questions and walked me through the exact steps for completing the job including how he proposed to waterproof. Mike started within a week of when we decided to go with him and his team was polite and worked hard to get the project done. We are very pleased with the job Mike's team did and would highly recommend them to anyone with a similar project.

I was really happy with Mike's team (Mike, Darryl and Bill)! The men were extremely professional. In addition to their quality work, I was lucky to benefit from their politeness and total respect for my home. One doesn't normally comment on "team harmony', but I think that is important because workers that get along and laugh together usually produce greater results. I highly recommend M. Scott Home Improvements. (I plan on using them again for another project next summer!)

We hired Mike to replace our concrete walkway that runs between the houses and down to the road. It was cracked and was likely the cause of our basement water damage. He was very prompt in returning my calls and was very willing to come by and answer all the questions I had about the job. He performed the job in a timely fashion and he and his crew were very professional and personable. The pathway now looks very good - and is graded so that the water doesn't run into our basement anymore. Have already recommended to neighbours.

Our front concrete was in need of replacing. Mike saved the day. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the work we needed. His team was available to come and do the work right away and if it wasn't for bad weather would have had the job done in a couple of days. Even my neighbors came out and complimented Mike on the job and I believe offered up refreshments. I live in an Italian / Portuguese neighborhood where they like to know what you are up to and talk a lot about how concrete should be done. A+ guys, thanks.

I had an uneven, chipped basement floor that needed replacement so that I could finish the basement properly. Michael returned my call the next business day, and came out to my Leslieville house quickly to measure and give me a quote. He answered all of my questions, and gave me a firm date that his crew could start the work. The crew showed up on time (3 guys) and they were very clean and polite. They broke up the existing concrete and dug down with shovels and buckets to remove the excess soil. They laid a base of gravel and then poured a very level and smooth concrete surface. I was very concerned about losing ceiling height, but the level was perfect. I would recommend Micheal for similar jobs- he was very professional and easy to work with.
