Mike's work is now over a year old and is still looking very good. The job was well done by him and his pleasant and competent crew. Mike can be a bit hard to get a hold of, but is very knowledgeable and affable when one does.

My neighbour and I collaborated on replacing the sidewalk between both our houses. Mike Scott gave us what seemed to be a reasonable estimate. Mike and his crew are punctual, very personable and patient with one’s questions. The work appears to have been done well and the clean up was quick and efficient. There are some touch ups outstanding, but I am confident that will be done once the weather permits. Overall, it was a positive experience.

After contacting Mike for the first time in regards to some concrete work he was promptly at my house for an estimate as he promised. He and his team were punctual and reliable from the very start. Mike offered a competitive quote and stuck with it. He and his team exemplified good quality work with knowledge and insight explaining all as they went along. The Clean - up and follow up was very good and Mike’s team were hard working, polite, professional and knowledgeable every step of the way.

I gave Mike a call after finding his good reviews on Homestars. I'm not disappointed. I needed to replace a disintegrating 50 year old driveway, and have a new concrete slab poured in my basement. Mike and team were punctual, we're exactly on schedule, and tidied everything nicely before they left. Everything was not without a hitch: during the work, the water heater tipped at a 45 degree angle. Mike called immediately and took care of the repairs. He's coming back for more in the new year!

This is the third time I have hired Mike and his crew to do work on my property. They always do a really good job and are friendly and reliable.

Mike arrived on time for his appointment and was helpful in answering all my questions. His guys were pleasant and finished the work by the deadline. The finished work looks beautiful and its exactly how I pictured it be. I highly recommend Mike and his team.

Mike Scott gave us a very affordable quote for a major job on a garage that was slowly sinking on one side. They had to remove the uneven and cracked garage floor, hoist up the frame, install supports, and pour a new concrete floor. They took care of some extra work around the bottom of the frame and made sure it was raccoon -proof. Mike and his team, Mike and Daryl, were always ready to explain what they were working on and answer questions. They were also incredibly helpful in removing decades worth of junk stored in the garage, and even carefully salvaged old photos that had fallen in between shelves and boards. The weather was rainy and soggy but they prevailed and finished on schedule. You can be sure that I’ll be phoning Mike and his team for our next home project, and I will recommend M. Scott Home Improvements to my friends. Everyday when I come home and see the now upright garage, I feel just great – thanks to Mike and the team!

Mike's price was very competitive.Prior to committing he invited me to visit another work site. Questions were answered thoroughly.Mike and his three coworkers were always helpful and cheerful to boot.All were hard workers. Project was on schedule and clean up complete. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this company

We hired Mike Scott to do our driveway mainly because he was one of the cheaper quotes we recieved and he said he could have it finished before winter 2012/2013. It took them less than a week to complete the job and it looked great, but about half way through the winter the cement started to crack because he didn't put pressure cuts in the driveway. He came back in the spring and replaced a couple pieces of the driveway that were badly cracked and put pressure cuts in, but he replaced it with a different type of concrete and now the driveway looks mutli coloured and awful! As well as the ugly driveway the newer concrete has started to crumble which he blames on salt even though we were careful to never put any salt on the driveway and the original concrete he used is fine. Mike Scott has since stopped returning our calls. I would not reccomend his company.

We hired Mike Scott for 2 separate jobs – (1) to replace the old, uneven and deteriorating concrete floor in our basement and (2) to provide a new concrete walkway between our neighbour’s house and ours. Mike quickly responded to our initial inquiry with a site assessment, outline of work, and price quote. Mike’s team was friendly and provided great customer service – they arrived on time, stayed on schedule, and responded to questions we had. They completed the work with minimal disruption and the clean-up was excellent. There were no extra costs above the original quote even though some of the work was more difficult than expected. It has been several months since the installation was completed and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. We would highly recommend Mike and his team.
