    Electrical Upgrade

    We have used Robart for a couple large electrical jobs at our house. Rob is very personable, informative, and explains exactly what you need. He's even steered us away from work that is not necessary! Ultimately, Rob and his team seem 100% focused on the customer and their needs. Questions are answered promptly, and any concerns addressed quickly. We are actually looking to Rob for some more work on our house. There's no one else we would use. Highly recommended.

    Upgrade Electrical

    I just bought a house this summer knowing it needed to be upgraded to 100amp because of insurance policies. I called Robart and talked to Rob. He was very helpful and pleasant over the phone. Within 3 days from the intial phone call (which happened to be a friday on a long weekend), Rob was at my house to look over the situation. I received the quote that evening. The next day Rob had emailed me with a date for the work to be done. The 2 workers were amazing and also very friendly. I Would call Robart again . Thanks for the lovely gift basket, very thoughtful.

    Electrical upgrade in older home

    We recently purchased a house that was built in 1956. The inspector that we used told us that we should consider upgrading the electrical, as there were a couple of serious issues that should be addressed (required a main breaker, move the electrical mast away from the deck, etc.). He told us that Robart specializes in such upgrades, so we gave them a call. Rob showed up, and was very professional. He examined the situation thoroughly and made sensible recommendations. I did have to remind him to email the quote to me, but I will forgive that because mistakes happen and that was a minor one. We felt the quote was very reasonable and since they were specifically recommended by our inspector (who we trusted - shout out to Chris B. at Alberta Property Inspection, he's great!), we accepted the quote with no issues. The crew showed up on the date and time agreed, and got the work done in a shorter amount of time than I thought it would take. They had to cut unexpected extra holes in a couple of the walls to fish some lines through, but I understood because sometimes with older houses you don't know what you're getting into until you're in it. They were even understanding about breaking up my payments into 2 chunks, because of fund transfer limitations on my bank account. Robart did great work, fast, with reasonable rates. I would not hesitate to recommend them, or have them back in my home for more electrical work if needed. **Edited Sept. 1 to change title of review.

    move electrical service line and new meter

    Robart came out. He was very detailed about what was required, what they will provide for service, and when. It wall went according to agreed details, and more! So good that I have called them back to do all my new remodelling and kitchen electrical upgrades… I'll probably call them back with finishing my basement, when the time comes. Robart is My choice for all my home Electrical Services

    replace aluminium wiring in sockets

    We had smoke coming from our socket and one call to Rob and he was round next day. Diagnosed problem due to age of house and the team he sent was on time, courteous, professional, friendly and tidy. You worry about whether you are getting a company that's good or that they gouge you for a job. These guys took a full day to do the job and there was no slacking believe me. There are in my cell phone contacts for future, thanks Robart.

    electrical upgrade

    Robart Electrical gave us a very competitive quote; did the job quickly, cleanly, and did not mind us questioning what was happening. Would refer this company to my best friend!

    New service, home and garage pot lights

    So after numerous quotes with timelines Robart was by far the best, Rob and his crew were professional and efficient. I had a new service installed, power run to my garage, pot lights installed, new outlets in the house, and under cabinet lighting. For all of the work they did a good job, except they missed cleaning up wood shavings in my bathroom downstairs and the pot lights flicker rob said that he would come back but has only once still having this same problem. But still all and all very professional. Would recommend if led potlights aren't needed.

    Electrical Inspection

    Needed an electrical inspection for insurance on our new-to-us but built-in-1952 home. Rob came within a few days of the initial call and was punctual, swift, thorough, and respectful. He offered a quote for any repairs our insurer requires if we wished, and sent a report for the insurer by email later the same day. Great service, highly recommended.

    Service

    Looking for a different electrician than we had previously, we found Robart Electrical Service on Homestars and also checked them with the BBB. We had several jobs; install a new switch to reconnect a 3rd light so it could be used (was disconnected when another company put in an outdoor light sensor), repair electrical wiring and hexagonal units so that broken light fixtures could be replaced (the other company said couldn’t be fixed without going into the attic, which they couldn’t do), install new fixtures, install new GFCI outlets, and pull down wires and create a new unit in the kitchen. Robart sent us Nathan and Quinn to do the job. With a really nice manner, they started by listening, then looked and poked around, said “hmm,” a couple of times, and then gave me an assessment before starting their work. They fixed everything, keeping me informed as was appropriate and also kindly explained when I had questions. As Rob said, Nathan has the mind of a detective and tries to figure out how he can best help the customer. They were very courteous, respectful, quietly carried out their work, asked before moving to another part of the house, and they were done in half the time I thought it would take. We found their rates very reasonable. Everything done to our satisfaction. Robart will be our electrical company from now on. The 3rd light that couldn’t be used? ..., well, all they needed was a 3-way switchplate! Got the 3-way, fixed that. Light at the top of the stairs that needed attic access? They fixed that, too, without going into the attic. The GFCI outlets? We first asked for one, nixing the 2nd to save a bit just now. But since they were on proximate walls, Nathan called and got a okay for a discount on the second, so we got both. We love these guys!

    System Upgrade & Extra Bits Through My House

    After trying to contact several electricians in my area with no response I came across Robart Electrical through Homestars and I couldn't be happier that I did! Rob called me back within an hour of my initial call and within 3 weeks the job is done! Amazing customer service and the 3 guys who did the job left no mess at all despite having to do some work opening the walls. We even got a wonderful gift basket! Thank you so much, I would not hesitate to call again and recommend you to anyone I know who needs electrical work!
