Roofing, eavestrough and tuck pointing
It's a big job and the biggest investment we've ever made in our home's maintenance. A 15 year old roof on an 85 year old home that we have lived in and loved for 15 years. After weeks of research and reading reviews here on HomeStars (whom we have used to find 4 other excellent trades) we were very fortunate to have found Arthur and his company. I can honestly say look no further (and when you do you will hire) - the Roof Whisperer - he should be your first call. It was ours and when reviewing 3 other final quotes, HomeStars reviews/recommendations --- to seeing the final work done its hands down the best decision we have made in caring for our home. Arthur knows his trades and we were able to do shingles, eaves trough replacement and chimney tuck pointing all together. From Jean on the phone setting the appointment through the fabulous crew who did the hard work and left not a trace of debris everyone was tremendously helpful and professional. We are "enjoying" the roof and knowledge that it was done right. I'd say I am a 9 out of 10 on the choosy consumer scale but can say if you do your research you will understand the passion of the reviews you see here for the Roof Whisperer. Skylight Installation
I would highly recommend getting your skylight through The Roof Whisperer. They provided me a fabulous skylight quickly and efficiently, and the quote for their installation and work came in less than the other two quotes I received.

Roof Repair
Arthur and Jean (office) were a pleasure to work with. They responded fast, followed up promptly and deliver estimate and scheduling quickly. Their prices seemed a little high so I got another quote from two firms also listed pretty high on Homestars. The other guys both wanted $400 up front for a sevice call that they then apply to the cost of repair. That doesn't work at all! Once you are in for $400 you are kinda stuck regardless of the price or work! Roof Whisperer charges and very low fee for the service call. The other guy said my whole flat rood was shot - estimate $2,500. Strange since I had it totally done 3 years ago! Arthur assured me there was no need to re-do the flat roof and he threw in spot sealing where needed for less than half of the other quote. And I have a warranty on his work. Suffice it to say I am very happy and would use Roof Whisperer again.

Roof repair
There was a cosmetic fix made to our roof before we bought the house. It blew off partially right before the winter and we needed help fast. Roof whisperer was quick to respond, quick to show up and quick to diagnose our problems. They were honest and genuine with their solutions. I appreciate people who want to get done right the first time. Thank you

Roof Repair
We contacted The Roof Whisperer because we were having problems with raccoons breaking through our roof soffits and getting in our attic. Arthur was very professional and extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a reasonable quote. Tony came out and spent an entire day reinforcing the underside of our roof soffits. He was hard-working and meticulous and made sure we were happy with his work every step of the way. Over the next several weeks, the raccoons were persistent and continued to break through other various areas in our roof. Arthur and Tony were exceptionally patient and returned several times to assess and fix the damage. They were enormously helpful in easing our frustrations and giving us peace of mind that our home was well protected from future raccoon invasions. We definitely recommend The Roof Whisperer to anyone and would hire them again ourselves! Thank-you so much Jean, Arthur and especially, Tony! Liza & Alfred Stouffville

Flat roof
I had some issues with the first team that installed the roof, however, after I contacted the main office they sent me the owner (Mr. Arthur) of the Roof Whisperer. He inspected the roof and immediately he found the issues. He apologized and told me everything was going to be taken care of without any extra incurred cost, which he did. He sent a team that made a very good job. My conclusion is that you can read many reviews but when you find one that something went wrong, this is the one is valuable for you... and this is one. I had a problem, the company came and solved (even if I could see they spent big bucks on material and labour to fix the previous issues!!) all this cost was absorbed by them as this was the right thing to do. Mr. Arthur has earned my trust and I can certainly recommend his work.

Sky Light Leaking
They came in replaced old skylights with new ones.. no mess left behind... Professional, Clean, and staff on time. Even fixed minor issues on roof without my asking. Awesome JOB!!!!!

Roof Leak
Upon referral from my bathroom contractor, I called Arthur and Jean for an unforeseen roof leak. With 2 pictures provided he was able to provide an accurate quotation. Jean showed up immediately and quickly repaired the roof leak with seamless professionalism.

Eavestrough and Downspout replacement
Great service! Knowing nothing about roof or eaves trough repair, I was apprehensive going in. A very friendly rep came in on the weekend, quickly assessed what I needed, prioritized what was most necessary and provided me with an emailed quote in only a few hours. Once we decided on the service, the company did a great job in only a few hours and, shockingly, charged less than the quoted price. Communication and customer service from the company was great and incredibly fast! All emails and calls were quickly answered and everyone I dealt with was friendly and informative. Great company and great service – I will use them again and will recommend them to friends and neighbours.

Roof Shingles
We ended up going with The Roof Whisperer, even though they had the most expensive quote of the bunch. In the end, we are pleased with the job they did. Communication was good, and the workers were all professional. Based on my research, they use very good quality shingles and materials too. One annoying hung is that they are the only company that charges a $75 fee to provide a quote. This is refunded if you hire them, but it left a sour taste in my mouth that they charge it to begin with. Originally we were going to go with a different company because that fee annoyed us so much, but we had such poor service from a competitor that we switched to the Roof Whisperer. I'd recommend these guys.
