Alex is a smart plumber. I had two valves behind the wall, inside the heating/cooling unit. The valves were old, completely rusted and difficult to access. Alex came on site and immediately knew the best way to do. He replaced the dead valves with ball valves, through the register outlet without having to break the wall. (Later on I learned that a neighbor had gone through a difficult process replacing their two bad valves inside their heating/cooling unit; their plumber broke the wall to replace them with conventional valves.) Alex's work was clean and neat. He is a high level professional in plumbing.

June 29th, 2016 Called Alex today and he was very accommodating in trying to help me. He was here in 45 mins, looked at the problem, left to get the replacement part, came back and installed. While here he also noticed another issue which he tried to repair, but was unsuccessful However he was able to set it such a way that we could use the shower head until we can get a new tub spout! Excellent work and customer service - 5 stars!

I cannot begin to say how satisfied I am with my experience with hiring Alex from The Toronto Plumber . I had a Riobel faucet in the shower which was installed in 2011 by a different plumber and never worked properly. Poor water flow etc. Finally decided it was about time to change the whole rotten thing and contacted Alex through searching in Home Stars.He came as promised , changed the faucet and noticed a leaking water shut off valve in the basement which he also changed. It is a complete pleasure to take a shower with abundant water flow and easy temperature regulation. I have asked myself several times - why did I wait so long !! I recommend Alex highly without reservations. asked myself why did I wait so long. I am a happy camper that is for sure. Alex is HIGHLY recommended withour reservations.

After reading reviews on Homestars, I called Alex on Friday May 6 and we arranged a meeting for Monday 9:00 am May 9. Alex arrived well before that time and was ready to do the diagnostics. He asked all the pertinent questions such as, when does the leak occur after a bath or after taking a shower ? I showed him the hole that had been made in the dining room ceiling from a previous plumbing attempt that did not fix the problem or prevent water from dripping down to the second floor (yes it was that bad) from the shower. The result of Alex's finding was the lower copper pipe of the shower had completely eroded. With the shower turned on water sprung out of its pipe like a waterfall running to the second floor and causing damage to the ceiling. Alex explained to me what had to be done, he then showed me his pricing schedule of what the cost would be for the repair. With the inclusion of the diagnostic fee, I believed it to be a fair price. Alex then went to work and boy does he do his repairs with care and precision. He even recommended I replace the shower head because the one in use was broken and spurting water from the hose holder. Again Alex left my place to purchase a replacement shower head. He returned, installed it, used silicon where needed, and demonstrated to me how to properly use and handle the shower head to extend its functionality and reduce wear & tear. Finally we went over the invoice including the added cost of the new shower head and signed on the dotted line. It has been almost a week since the repair and there is no sign of water leakage from the newly installed copper pipe. In addition, I am enjoying the new shower head although I have yet to experiment with all of its different settings. I plan to have Alex back to do some other plumbing work in my home soon. Also I strongly recommend him and his company to anyone who wants a job well done -- he is a master at his craft. Thank you Alex.

We called Toronto Plumbers for a leak and ended up with a whole new bathroom to be proud of. The initial meeting we had with Alex, we felt comfortable right through until the job was completed. Andrew and his son Alex (plumbers), Tom (piping, cutting), and Andy (drywall, tiles) were courteous, professional and truly a pleasure to work with. As tough as the job was and we know it was because we were afraid to deal with it over the years, these guys did an amazing job and I wouldn't hesitate in calling them in the future. Though I hope I don't need to (hahaha), they would be the first on my list for sure. Thanks you guys for all your hard work and for truly making our home more comfortable and presentable.

My tenant emailed me to let me know there was a leak under the sink -- when I called the Toronto Plumber, I was told someone could come the next day and I was given a two-hour window (10 to 12). Alex showed up on the dot at 10 a.m., figured out the problem fast, explained to me the repairs he was going to make, and had the problem fixed within an hour. Amazing service -- I would absolutely recommend this company!

Alex arrived at our door sharp at 7:00 p.m., we had scheduled appointment for 7:00 p.m. He was so pleasant. We explained our situation that we had a water leak in our main floor and we mentioned it would be from the bath tub on the upper level. He observed the water leak. He agreed to diagnose the problem right away. He arrived at the conclusion that the bath tub drain was not fixed properly which he reinstalled for us and checked if the problem recurred. We confirmed that it was not leaking anymore. We had another technician who had seen this issue earlier and he had mentioned that the bath tub had to be taken out to identify the problem inside which would have involved a lot of work and more money. Alex was so professional in his approach and he knew what he had to do to get it fixed. We loved his service and his price was reasonable.

We called The Toronto Plumber by a recommendation from a friend. The next day Alex from The Toronto Plumber came by and was on top of the work asap. Alex removed our old toilet and installed a brand new one that we purchased no so long ago, he also repaired the emergency shutoff valve for the upstairs washroom. And replaced our kitchen faucet. We moved in, no so long ago and had good amount of plumbing things to do and change, so we are happy that we got Alex by recommendation. If your looking for reliable and honest plumbers give Alex a call, he is very professional and honest plumber and does very nice and quality work.

Alex did a great job explaining to me all the details of the job. He was prompt, professional and efficient. He kept the site clean and fixed the broken pipe in a very short amount of time.
