We called Michael to inspect a secondary staircase that was constructed going into our basement. A building permit was not initially obtained. The city needed assurance that it was constructed properly and the floor was properly supported. On the day of our appointment Michael came on time with all his required equipment. He took his time and was not rushing through the inspection. He was through and explained what he was seeing as he was doing his inspection. At one point he needed to cut the drywall in the ceiling. He tried to keep the opening to a minimum and explained how to re-patch it properly. After the inspection, he quickly provided a report which was submitted to the city building permit office. Mike is very experienced and does a thorough job. I would use his services again and recommend him to anyone requiring a home construction inspection.
