    Architectural, Structural drawings for new garage and home addition

    We contacted Rigid Frame Structural Engineers in May 2017 to help us design a rear addition, new garage, and vaulting our existing living room. Shortly after, Pezhman and Arwin both came for a site visit and then started working on the required drawings for the zoning and building permit. They were very professional and would always take the time to answer any of your questions. We ran into a bunch of delays from the city and they required changes with some of the designs, but Pezhman helped us through all the changes (We had to pay for a few extra hours). We finally got our building permit now in April 2018. We started the construction of the addition and garage mid June 2018 and some of the plans did need to get changed because of our budget. Pezhman has been great in helping us make the necessary changes in order to suit our budget though! Overall, it wasn't always smooth sailing with the project but we are happy with the results and through out the process, Pezhman was always easy to contact via phone. If he doesn't pick up right away, he'll usually call back within the day!

    Open Concept Kitchen

    We had Pezhman and Alvin for load bearing wall removal to make an open concept Ktichen. For some technical reasons it was quite a hard work, but luckily we found them. They did drawing, permit and construction for us. They were professional, on time, and willing to slove all the problems during construction. We had a great time to work with them, and recommending them for sure.

    Engineering/architecture for complex home addition

    We called Rigid Frame based on their great Homestars reviews for a complex addition we were doing in Burlington ON. While this job was quite far from their office, Pezhman made all efforts to accommodate us and our clients. As a contractor, its extremely important to find other professionals that can deliver quality work in a given time frame. The team at Rigid Frame were able to accommodate our time constraints and provide solutions on a very challenging rebuild. Our clients home required a full rebuild due to mould/structural issues plus we added an addition to the home. The team are very dynamic and adaptable and we found their pricing to be very reasonable for the quality of services they provided. They are not your standard BCIN designer and they have so much more experience and expertise to offer. If you have a complex engineering/architectural issue that needs solving these guys should be #1 on your list!! This was our first experience applying for minor variance with the City and everything went so smoothly. We were able to navigate the Committee of Adjustments in less than half the normal amount of time! According to the city, it attests to the quality of drawings and preparation from the team at Rigid Frame. I can't thank Pezhman enough for coaching us through this process and consider him an excellent mentor. I don't think we would have made it through this without him! Pezhman and Hannah were never too busy to take my calls or accommodate our ever-changing requests. I consider them absolutely fundamental to the success of our job so far and am happy to have found such a great, reliable team to work with. Thank you again guys, looking forward to future projects together!!!

    Café renovation

    Arvin was great to deal with, and priced fairly. Permits and drawings were also provided promptly.

    For all my structural engineer needs...

    I really lucked out in finding Pezhman and his team at Rigid Frame Structural Engineers Inc. and Architects... It was my first project as a contractor and I needed a structural engineer for the underpinning work. I needed somebody who knew his or her stuff inside out, who was very experienced in all the building code regulations, and the building inspection process, and of course someone whose pricing was super competitive... Pezhman and his small team at Rigid Frame was exactly the building engineers I needed! Extremely knowledgeable, thorough, very accessible and his pricing was super competitive. I was so impressed that I had him do all the structural engineered drawings for the entire project and some architectural drawings too. He didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear, but he told me what I needed to hear and do in order to successfully accomplish my home building project and focused only on areas that mattered. No fluff! I highly recommend Rigid Frame for any building project structural engineer needs. They're great!

    Covered Deck

    Arvin and the team at Rigid Frame SES are fantastic. They helped us with a great design and provided excellent customer service. We're very happy with the results and would recommend them for sure.

    Drawings for Load-Bearing Wall

    After searching around for structural engineers to help with opening up a load-bearing wall, I decided to hire Rigid Frame. The first time I met Arvind and Pehzman, I knew I made the right choice. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. They provided drawings in a timely manner and always responded to my questions or concerns. They helped me navigate through the process - especially when dealing with the City Examiner in order to get the drawings approved. I would definitely use them again in the future or recommend them to anyone looking for structural engineers.

    Drawing and permit for removal of first floor interior walls

    Pezhman was professional and courteous from our first encounter. Took the time to answer all my questions. Very thorough site visit. Efficient turn around time for both structural drawing and for obtaining the city permit on my behalf. Reliable and easy to reach. Would highly recommend and I would use his service for my next reno project.

    Architectural Drawings for Post & Beam

    A load bearing post and beam had been removed from under our stairs which resulted in the stairs starting to lean. Pezhman & Arvin from Rigid Frame came to do an assessment and brainstormed solutions to minimize cost and maximize function. They completed the drawings for a new footing, post and beam within 2 weeks and we received the building permit from the City of Toronto within 1 business day of submitting our application. Great to work with all around!

    Permit drawing for Removal of load bearing wall

    Pezhman was very helpful and professional throughout this whole stressful process. He patiently discussed different options as the job changed and stepped in to help out with the architectural side of the plans when needed as well. Thanks so much guys!
