Foundation Wall Re-inforcement
During what was supposed to be a simple basement reno, we discovered that one of our foundation walls was bowing. The options to reinforce the wall were complicated by the heating and AC ducting and electrical panel against the wall. After a poor experience with another structural engineer, we contacted Arvin to perform and initial site visit. He clearly explained to us our options, and was able to draw up a customized wall design that worked around all the ducting. We found a contractor to build the wall and Arvin inspected the progress at various stages. There were several complications during the construction that required Arvin's input, and we really appreciated that Arvin always made himself available for our phone calls and queries - sometimes several times a day. He was always very patient and took the time to provide detailed responses to our questions either by phone or email. We would recommend Arvin's services and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Design of replacement porch and balcony
I have to rebuild a deck and porch on my property that is old and requires replacement. Pezhman was very professional and thorough in designing the plans for this project. He directly dealt with the City of Toronto in filling out all forms, applications etc needed to obtain the necessary permits to proceed with this project. In addition he did site visits, even speaking with the neighbours about this project as it is a semi-detached property. Would definitely recommend Pezhman and Rigid Frame Structural engineers, and I'm looking forward to working with him in the future. Peter L.

Structural engineering
Pezhman and Arvin came by my house to look at a section of my floor that was sloping. They were professional, upfront about their fees, and honest (ie. they're not overselling you on services not required). I was very pleased with their service. I would definitely refer them and use them again.

Rigid Frames Structural Engineer Drawings
I found Rigid Frames via their excellent reviews on HomeStars and was delighted by their impeccable service. Pezhman and Arvin produced structural drawings for the removal of a load bearing wall separating the kitchen and living areas in our newly purchased, semi-detached home. They also submitted and managed our building permit application with the city. From the beginning, Pezhman was extremely professional, efficient and friendly. He met all of the agreed deadlines, and even exceeded our expectations when the building permit was obtained in record time. Even when faced with challenges -- such as a site visit where they had half the normal time to complete their measurements, or when a concern arose with our contractor -- Rigid Frames handled each with care and diligence. Not to mention their fees are reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend Rigid Frames and would not hesitate to work with them again in the future.

Apartment Building Fire Escape
After a few unsuccessful searches to find a structural engineer to design a new fire escape for my apartment building I came across Rigid Frame. Arvin and Pehzman met me at the site to discuss and understand the requirements of the job. I was initially concerned when I didn't hear back from anyone for a couple of weeks after providing a deposit, but later learned that was due to vacation time. When the project got rolling again, I was pleased with the communication and how Arvin helped in me getting the building permit from the Town. Arvin promptly made the necessary additions to the drawing as required by the Town and we received the building permit. I can say it was smooth sailing after this, as Arvin provided a quote for the actual construction and the approximate start/end time. When we agreed go with Rigid Frame for the construction everything was done within the required time frame and to the satisfaction of the Town. I would definitely recommend Rigid Frame and will most likely use them in the future for any major project.

Load Bearing Wall Removal
Arvin and Pezhman helped us with replacing a load bearing wall in our kitchen with a Steel Beam, throughout the process they were responsive and extremely helpful when we had questions, and quickly solved any issues that arose. I would definitely recommend Rigid Frame.

Underpinning & Addition creation
We are new home owners taking on a large renovation for the first time. We made a great decision to work with Pezhman and Arvin to get our plans done. They were informative, provided professional advice and did what they could to help us to save money. We would highly recommend this company as it was a pleasure working with them. Our drawings are complete and now we are looking at working with their sister company to help us with the renovations as well. Thanks Guys!

structural design for whole home reno
Pezhman and his team were able to provide me with one stop shopping, for all of the structural requirements on this major home renovation. complete gut job requiring various renewed structural details throughout. Structural engineers
This review is long overdue. This is the second time I have been fortunate enough to do business with Arvin and Pezhman at Rigid Frame. The pictures are from a project where they were responsible for making sure that the open concept house was as sturdy as it was beautiful. We added a 25-30 foot two story extension to the back of a house in downtown Toronto. You don't want to get into a big and expensive renovation without making sure that the structure will be sturdy and safe during the renovation and for years to come. Whenever I needed their input, they took the time out of their busy day to answer any questions that I had. I'm very happy with the service that they provide. Thanks guys!

Foundation restructure
Arvin and Pezhman tackled a very tricky project in designing the restructure of our almost hundred year old foundation, as well as a substantial (3 level) addition to the back of our home. They approached the project with an honest and straight forward approach, and a strong commitment to meeting our needs while balancing that with the limitations of the project. We were most impressed with how genuinely earnest they were in helping us literally build our dream home. We would recommend Rigid Frame Structural Engineers to anyone looking for professionals who provide quality work with personable service!
