We hired Arvin and Pezman to provide us with structural drawings for a removal of a load bearing wall and installation of LVL beams in its place. Arvin and Pezman did a site visit, measured up the place and few days later provided the drawing package with the recommended LVL beams. My working experience with this company was excellent, they were straight forward, answered all my questions and met all my criteria. I recommend this company!

In order to create an open concept in our house, we had decided to remove two load bearing walls which were perpendicular to each other and were holding the total load of the second floor and the roof. Also, we did not wish to have any supporting posts in the middle, which would lose the aesthetic look of the open concept. Before starting the project, we met with a number of contractors and were told by many of them that this was a complex project and recommended posts in the middle of the open space for support. We were also warned by some that the required 20 feet steel beams will be too heavy (over a 1000 Lb.) for this project. So, I contacted four different structural engineers before decided to go with Rigid Frame Structural Engineers. On the first phone conversation, Pezhman explained each step of the process, including pricing for each stage as well as the required timeframe. As I am particular in analyzing quotations, it was obvious that their pricing was very competitive for the scope of work they were performing for our project. Pezhman and Arvin showed up to each scheduled site visit on time, their scheduling for each stage of the project was precise. The structural drawing was completed within the timeframe they had promised and when it was submitted to the city for permit; the city did not raise a single concern before the permit was approved. During the construction phase, every time I had a question or concern about the contractors work, I called Pezhman /Arvin and they both either got in touch with the contractor to resolve the particular issue or showed up at the site to assist with the situation. The contractor was also very happy with the work of Pezhman/Arvin as he mentioned in the past 25 years he had never seen such proactive engineers. Overall, no matter how complex your project is, we highly recommend Rigid Frame Structural Engineers services. We got very lucky for selecting the right structural engineers for our project. To create my dream kitchen, I wanted to tear down the wall between the small existing kitchen and the formal dining room. Only problem is that I wasn't sure if the wall was load bearing, which meant I needed to find a structural engineer. I contacted Pezhaman from Rigid Frame and was able to set up an appointment quickly for him to assess the situation. He and his partner Arvin arrived on time at the home to assess the situation. They were very thorough in their review of the structure, took pictures and explained the situation in easy to understand language, My requested report was provided to me on the agreed to date and Pezhman followed up with me to make sure everything was in order. I highly recommend this duo!

So Happy with Rigid Frames service and people!! Myself and my wife are opening a new dance studio in Pickering (Prodigy Dance and Performing Arts) and with the studio being in a retail plaza the city required an engineers drawing of the work being done. My contractor recommended Arvin with Rigid Frame and I am so glad he did! Both Arvin and Pezhman are very friendly, courteous people that truly went above and beyond for what they had charged us. Perfectly detailed, accurate drawings were presented to us in a very timely fashion! When the city had asked us for a separate drawing for another of their concerns (after the permit was already issued) BOTH Arvin and Pezhman came to the studio, did the work required and presented us a new drawing that satisfied the city within a few hours. Called based on reviews on homestars. I'm glad I did. They arrived on time finished the design very fast and had it back in my contractors hands. My contractor was so happy with them he is now using this company for other jobs. Do yourself a favor and call rigid frame first.

Competitive pricing, quick responses and quality work; what more can you ask for? Our residential project involved removal of a load -bearing wall. Arvin and Pezhman responded with quick, competitive pricing, returned phone calls/emails on the same day and were willing to come for a site inspection even on a weekend to meet the needs of our tight schedule. When they arrived at our home they did a thorough inspection and provided us drawings within the timeline originally stated. I would definitely use Rigid Frame in the future and recommend them for any similar project.

Very competitive price for amazing quality! Pehzman and Arvin both arrived for the initial assessment. It was raining that day, and they advised 30min before the appointment that they feared running late due to weather (although they arrived promptly as scheduled :). Extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They took their time gathering information needed for assessment. After drawing delivery, they made themselves available to myself and my contractors for further discussion and questions. I had not problem getting the drawing approved by the city of Mississauga. I hired Arvin and his partner Pezhman to determine if two of my walls were load bearing. I felt they were very good with providing me with options and even though it was getting late they didn't rush to make any sudden conclusions. They provided the report in a timely manner. I would definitely hire them again.
