    TOWNHOUSE

    We were very fortunate to have Chris as our home inspector. . Chris was very patient and explained everything to us . He did a thorough inspection even though we called him out last minute to make a appointment. He emailed us a hard copy report the next day as promised and he also gave us a follow up call to answer all the questions we had. On his report he listed each item that requires attention, service or replacement. I was really impressed with the level of service he provided. I will definitely recommend his service to my friends and anyone who's purchasing a property. Thanks a lot Chris!

    Home Inspection

    Chris was thorough and professional. He spent about 3 hours on site and his report was extensive. He pointed out strengths and weaknesses of the unit and building, and took the time to explain technical issues I wasn't familiar with and give an indication of how other similar buildings compared. Customer service was excellent: the report was easy to follow, he was easy to get in touch with, was willing to schedule short notice, showed up and communicated when he said he would, called to follow up, promptly returned calls, and spent time answering my questions after I received the report. He actively asked for feedback, and seemed very interested in doing the best job possible. He was also honest about the limitations of a home inspection. For example, although he tested all the appliances and they were functioning at the time of the inspection, they are all old, and he expects that they won't last much longer. Overall I felt that I could trust Chris for an informed and balanced report. I would definitely hire Haystack Home Inspections again.

    Home Inspection

    We hired Chris on the recommendation of a friend and were happy with his level of service from the first phone call until the the last follow up. He accomodated our tight schedule to complete the inspection prior to putting in an offer, and this proved to give us the upper hand in securing the sale. When we arrived the day of the inspection Chris was already onsite and took time immediately to walk us through the process and answer any questions we may have at that time. We found him to be very thorough in both his verbal and written reports. The written report is well laid out and we appreciated the photos and detail in which he noted everything. We will be using this report as the foundation of our 'to-do' lists when we move in! We would highly recommend Chris without reservation.

    Home Inspection

    Since my husband is a drywall contractor/framer and pretty handy guy we considered doing the inspection of our new home ourselves. I am very glad we chose Haystack! We were very pleased with Chis' level of knowledge and expertise. He spent hours going over every inch of the home we wanted to purchase and saw several things I know we would have missed. He really cares about his business and his clients. The report was clear and he prioritized the things that required immediate attention. I would highly recommend him!

    Condo Inspection

    I had a condo that I needed an inspection for a very quick subject removal. Despite schedule changes Chris was very accommodating. His reports are detailed and easy to read and understand. He's super personable and always willing to answer any questions and has helpful hints for maintanence. Even the real estate agent seemed impressed. I would definitely call him again if I ever need a home inspection.

    Home Inspection

    Haystack Home Inspections did a fantastic job on our home inspection. Chris identified a number of issues with the condo we liked, and we were able to negotiate the repair of many of the issues into our purchase agreement. Since we purchased the condo, he has also assisted me with a few projects around the house, free of charge. I can't recommend Haystack Home Inspections any more highly!

    Home inspection

    I am very glad I selected Haystack Home Inspections for my home purchase. I had been particularly nervous about choosing a home inspector as I was buying a suite in a completely renovated heritage house. But I didn't need to worry at all. Chris didn't just show up for the inspection. He took the time to thoroughly research my property beforehand, giving me information that I wasn't even able to find! On the day of the inspection, Chris efficiently conducted the inspection, reviewed it with us, and then gave us a very detailed report. With all the information he provided (both before and at the inspection), we really understood what we were buying - which made me feel much more comfortable about our making our purchase. I highly recommend Haystack Home Inspections for their solid expertise and excellent service!

    Home Inspection for Heritage House

    We are first time home buyer and Chris was patient and willingly to explain the findings as he went about his inspection process with us. He showed great experience with this line of work and we highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good thorough home inspection. Chris also followed up with us a few days after the inspection to make sure if we have any questions regarding his report.

    Home inspection

    We hired Chris to do inspection on our house. We were very impressed with his professional, thorough, and Friendly service. His final report was very detailed and pointed out every minor and major issues especially plumbing and roof issues. He went over his report pointing out immediate concern. Even after the inspection Chris followed-up with us and offered his expertise should needed. We would definitely recommend his services

    Home Inspection

    I had Chris come in and do a Home Inspection of a Condo we were looking to buy. He was incredibly thorough, and very professional. He has a background in building and project management, so I really felt like he knew what to look for. He really looked carefully at everything, tested all the appliances and exhaust systems etc. He provided an excellent report - which he also went over with us. Chris even did a courtesy follow up call a couple weeks later to see if we had any further questions or needs. I would highly recommend this company, and will call Chris again if we ever buy another home.
