Our house is almost 22 years old and the original insulation in the attic looks not so good. The reason I say this is that, in summer, the temperature of one bed room on second floor could be 28C or even more when we set up temperature on the thermostat 24C. In winter, it could be 19C when we setup 23C. So, we think we might need do something on our insulation. I was browsing HomeStar website and noticed EcoComfort, I read some reviews and many customers all give EcoComfort high score. I was wondering that is this true? Then I left a message to EcoComfort for a free estimation. I got the call from Wojtek just after hours and he shows up a couple of days later during the lunch time and sent me email including the detailed quotation in the evening. Then we decided to do the old insulation removal and install new R60 insulation and set up the date they can come over to work. Yesterday, Carlo and Maciek arrived punctually and they were very polite and professional. After around 5 hours’ non-stop working, they cleaned up and showed us the final result, which looked great. They have added all the baffles and installed R60 insulation. I am eager to see the temperature difference after installing R60 insulation. This morning, I measured the temperature on the second floor, the lowest reading is 21.6C and the highest is 23.8C, which is obviously improved. Meanwhile, we felt very comfortable in the house. I was looking for a top up from R10 about 6-8 inches to R60 per my energy audit. The price was competitive and the work from eco was under 2 hours and very clean. The results were noticed the same night. I wish had had completed 5 years ago when I moved in. Top and bottom floors are consistent now. Thanks eco comfort.

Amazing! Great company to deal with... Highly recommend there services! The whole team was great from Voitek in sales to the tradesmen whole installed the baffles and reinsulated our attic. We had Wojtek an crew insulate our attic. The quote was quick and Wojtek explained the work required and had a written quote to us within hours. The quote was extremely detailed and the price was comparable to other quotes we received. We ended up going with EcoComfort because of this level of service. On the day of insulation the technicians were very clean and professional. They removed their shoes when in the house and cleaned up after themselves. They showed us the attic after it was done and explained everything. We were impressed with EcoComfort's professionalism and we would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

The insulation in our attic was installed only about 6 years ago and was done very poorly. We had ice dam and the bedrooms upstairs were not comfortable in the winter. EcoComfort removed them and installed R60 insulation in its place, along with a roof vent for a washroom exhaust fan. We were very impressed with Wojtek. Paolo and Mike did a fantastic job. Our attic needed insulation since it was only about R15 and there was some disturbed due to other renovations. We contacted Wojtek through the company website. After a very prompt response we agreed to a date for a quote. Wojtek let us know that the existing insulation was okay to leave and they would top up to R60. He emailed a quote later that day and was able to book the work the following week at our request. He was able to fit us in. The quote included the soffit baffles and repair of a leaky bathroom exhaust vent. A two hour window was provided for the start of the job. The two man crew arrived on time and placed drop cloths. The whole job took just over two hours including clean up. One suggestion would be to leave the hose outside until actually needed as the front door was partially open for the entire time on a cold and windy day. The first 45 minutes were spent installing the baffles and the hose was not needed inside. Otherwise we are extremely pleased with the job and can already feel the difference in our ensuit where the insulation had been the thinnest. We should have done this a long time ago and we would recommend Ecocomfort.

Ecocomfort removed the very old insulation from our semi-detached home, and installed R60 insulation in its place, along with a roof vent for a new washroom exhaust fan. My wife and I were very impressed with Ecocomfort at every stage of the process, from the initial estimate through to the day of the work, where the team coordinated perfectly with an electrician we also had on site for the exhaust fan installation. Wojtek was always very responsive to emails and questions, and understanding as we requested additions to the work close to the installation day. We will definitely be recommending Ecocomfort in the future!

Rarely have I been more satisfied than I have been with EcoComfort ; From front to back the experience has been excellent. We decided to upgrade the insulation in both the upper and lower attic spaces before the winter set in. When we began reaching out for quotes, Wojtek answered directly and provided a written quote (email) before leaving our home. The quote work was thorough and caught all the aspects of the job (unlike some of the competitors who had to pointed at key details). We chose this company not only for the attention to detail, but also for its competitive pricing. On the day of the work our installation team (Tom and Patrick) arrived promptly at the start time (8am); and set to work with polite efficiency. They answered all my questions, and provided my opportunities to see and understand the work in progress. Most impressively, they identified and fixed a couple of huge oversights which had been made by previous installers; It would have been easy to ignore such problems I wouldn't have known. On this point alone it would be worth a full 10 stars! When all was done, everything was left clean and tidy, further, the benefits of the work were immediately evident; the house is warmer and the furnace runs far less often. Looking forward to seeing the performance next spring and summer season.

Fantastic results from this company. They were so efficient, clean and thorough. We were freezing cold in our master bedroom and bathroom. When they surveyed the attic, insulation was completely missing in many parts of the room. After the R60 insulation got blown in, they even got me up on the ladder to check out the difference. So clean and evenly displaced. the best part is that now that the cold weather has approached, we are toasty warm in our bedroom and I even have to throw off the blankets. We have lowered our thermostat to 65 degrees and are comfortable in our home. Now we are saving a ton of money!!!!!! Do not hesitate to hire this wonderful, trustworthy and competent company.
