I wish all companies treated their customers the way Voitek, Mike and Carlo treated myself and my family. Not only was the work they did impeccable, the customer service was through the roof! Thank you again for all you did.

Amazing! Great company to deal with... Highly recommend there services! The whole team was great from Voitek in sales to the tradesmen whole installed the baffles and reinsulated our attic. Honestly have no worries if you choose this company to deal with... We felt the difference instantly in our house! And the guys vacummed everywhere afterwards... Just can't say enough good things about them... Thanks again Eco Comfort!

We had Wojtek an crew insulate our attic. The quote was quick and Wojtek explained the work required and had a written quote to us within hours. The quote was extremely detailed and the price was comparable to other quotes we received. We ended up going with EcoComfort because of this level of service. On the day of insulation the technicians were very clean and professional. They removed their shoes when in the house and cleaned up after themselves. They showed us the attic after it was done and explained everything. We were impressed with EcoComfort's professionalism and we would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

The insulation in our attic was installed only about 6 years ago and was done very poorly. We had ice dam and the bedrooms upstairs were not comfortable in the winter. EcoComfort removed them and installed R60 insulation in its place, along with a roof vent for a washroom exhaust fan. We were very impressed with Wojtek. Paolo and Mike did a fantastic job. Very clean. I already recommended EcoComfort to a friend of mine and will definitely be recommending Ecocomfort in the future!

Our attic needed insulation since it was only about R15 and there was some disturbed due to other renovations. We contacted Wojtek through the company website. After a very prompt response we agreed to a date for a quote. Wojtek let us know that the existing insulation was okay to leave and they would top up to R60. He emailed a quote later that day and was able to book the work the following week at our request. He was able to fit us in. The quote included the soffit baffles and repair of a leaky bathroom exhaust vent. A two hour window was provided for the start of the job. The two man crew arrived on time and placed drop cloths. The whole job took just over two hours including clean up. One suggestion would be to leave the hose outside until actually needed as the front door was partially open for the entire time on a cold and windy day. The first 45 minutes were spent installing the baffles and the hose was not needed inside. Otherwise we are extremely pleased with the job and can already feel the difference in our ensuit where the insulation had been the thinnest. We should have done this a long time ago and we would recommend Ecocomfort.

Ecocomfort removed the very old insulation from our semi-detached home, and installed R60 insulation in its place, along with a roof vent for a new washroom exhaust fan. My wife and I were very impressed with Ecocomfort at every stage of the process, from the initial estimate through to the day of the work, where the team coordinated perfectly with an electrician we also had on site for the exhaust fan installation. Wojtek was always very responsive to emails and questions, and understanding as we requested additions to the work close to the installation day. We will definitely be recommending Ecocomfort in the future!

Rarely have I been more satisfied than I have been with EcoComfort ; From front to back the experience has been excellent. We decided to upgrade the insulation in both the upper and lower attic spaces before the winter set in. When we began reaching out for quotes, Wojtek answered directly and provided a written quote (email) before leaving our home. The quote work was thorough and caught all the aspects of the job (unlike some of the competitors who had to pointed at key details). We chose this company not only for the attention to detail, but also for its competitive pricing. On the day of the work our installation team (Tom and Patrick) arrived promptly at the start time (8am); and set to work with polite efficiency. They answered all my questions, and provided my opportunities to see and understand the work in progress. Most impressively, they identified and fixed a couple of huge oversights which had been made by previous installers; It would have been easy to ignore such problems I wouldn't have known. On this point alone it would be worth a full 10 stars! When all was done, everything was left clean and tidy, further, the benefits of the work were immediately evident; the house is warmer and the furnace runs far less often. Looking forward to seeing the performance next spring and summer season.

Fantastic results from this company. They were so efficient, clean and thorough. We were freezing cold in our master bedroom and bathroom. When they surveyed the attic, insulation was completely missing in many parts of the room. After the R60 insulation got blown in, they even got me up on the ladder to check out the difference. So clean and evenly displaced. the best part is that now that the cold weather has approached, we are toasty warm in our bedroom and I even have to throw off the blankets. We have lowered our thermostat to 65 degrees and are comfortable in our home. Now we are saving a ton of money!!!!!! Do not hesitate to hire this wonderful, trustworthy and competent company. You wont regret it!!!!

I need to start this review with a cautionary tale. I've had great success finding service companies through HomeStars. So much so that when I decided to have the insulation in my attic upgraded, I got lazy and went with the first company I found that had a good rating. The company I went with is one that claims to be the official insulation contractor for two of Canada's most well known TV "celebrity handymen" . I had an uneasy feeling from day one when the estimate I received was way, way above what I was expecting. When I questioned the estimate, the salesman said the best way I could save some money was reducing the insulation amount to R40 (from R50). That would apparently save me 10%. I was left with a hand-written proposal with scratched out numbers and not even a final total indicated (i.e.: I guess I was supposed to do the math myself, and trust that the guy back at the office would come to the same amount). Despite numerous requests for an official email detailing the work and prices we had agreed on, the handwritten proposal was all I was ever provided. We had agreed on a date for the work to be completed, and I had arranged to stay home from work. That morning I got a call from one of the workers who was on the road saying that the guy who was to do the prep work prior to the insulation being blown in was sick, and they didn't have anyone else to do it! The day was wasted, and unbelievably, I never heard back from their office to apologize or to set up another appointment. Now to contrast that terrible experience with the fantastic experience I had with EcoComfort: Wojtek arrived precisely on time to provide me with an estimate, was polite and efficient, and within minutes I had an itemized email detailing all of the work to be completed and the final price. He identified important considerations that the other company hadn't even noted and wouldn't have addressed. On the day the work was to be completed, again they arrived precisely on time. The two guys introduced themselves with a handshake, were very polite and professional. They did the job thoroughly, and efficiently, and were careful - drop cloths on the floors everywhere to ensure there was no mess. When they were finished, they walked me through all the work so I could be sure it was done to my satisfaction. When the work was finished and they had packed up, you would never have known they had been there. Everything was spotless. Their prices are very reasonable - the amount of insulation added was to achieve an R60 rating (the previous company was going to only do R40), insulated and weatherstripped the access hatches to the attic, installed insulated exhaust ducts and roof vents for two bathroom fans, and added fibreglass insulation to the skylight where there was nothing before. Again, much of this work hadn't even been identified by the other company I dealt with, and their estimate had been much higher! I am super impressed with EcoComfort, from their customer service to the actual work, everything was flawless and professional.

My neighbours across the street gave a great recommendation about the work that EcoComfort did removing their old attic insulation and replacing it with new, so I decided it was time to do the same, and went with EcoComfort. Very glad that I did. I really liked the two guys that did the work. They were very friendly, helpful, respectful, and very good at their jobs. They kept me updated as the day went on, and gave me some helpful tips along the way. And the house is already way more comfortable! I would highly recommend EcoComfort to anyone.
