    AC was not working

    Window of service was a bit long...basically was told to be available all day and my appointment ended up being the last one for the day. Not ideal if you are on a schedule. However, the service rep was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He did not do anything that was not needed and gave me some honest information about my unit to consider. Overall pleased with service, once they arrived.

    Heat pump replacement

    Jamie arrived on time and promptly set about working. He was efficient, tidy, knowlegable and just plain nice.

    AC not working

    He came and was able to fix the issue right away! Very nice and thorough service. He made sure the system was properly up and running before he left. Very appreciated!

    Air conditioning unit

    Was done quickly. The gentleman was very efficient and explained what had gone wrong. It was a big relief before the heat that came this weekend

    Condo heat pump service and modification.

    Thermocool technician removed a very old humidification unit (installed by a former owner). The 2 holes left in the duct were patched and our cooling system’s performance instantly skyrocketed. Cold air no longer impeded by this diversion, reached further distances. The service technician also split our pump temperature functions between 2 separate thermostats. We will now be spared disturbed sleep during shoulder seasons as our building’s dual systems adjust. It is an unusual request but they did it for us because we asked.

    Air Conditioning not working

    The agent arrived at the time he said he would and was friendly. However - he DID NOT know how to fix the AC. He had to call someone and it took him 20 mins just to get the info from the man as he was on hold. How does he come to fix an AC unit and NOT KNOW HOW TO DO IT!?! I had to pay for him to figure out basic info! He didn't even know how to access the set up menu! Then he started replacing all these parts and could only say that it would PROBABLY fix the problem. He then left many parts in his truck, including his wrench!! He also spent a total of 35 mins going up and down - I timed it - and got lost in the building, which again I HAD TO PAY FOR!! He finally replaced all the parts and did not connect the wires properly - he mixed the wires and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. I am THOROUGHLY upset with the fact that there is no confidence from the Thermacool Agent that the two parts replaced needed replacement - and the fact that he spent a lot of time asking others how to fix the problem because he did not know or wasn't sure himself. I will not recommend you and I will advise the Property Manager of this. 2 hours of labour $160+$90, 2 parts replaced $145 (actuator likely needed replacement, but wires were not connected properly so we don't know), then because it wasn't working due to the incorrect installment he replaced the value body too ($130 - likely never needed to do this). He relied on the fact that I could not prove him wrong and he wasn't going to put the old pieces back to prove he was right. I should only have paid 1 hour of labour $160 + the actuator $145 = $305 NOT THE AMOUNT I PAID $525. To make this right and to keep my business, I would expect a refund for the extra amount paid - $220 + tax. A credit is not acceptable to me.

    Repair to Air conditioning unit

    Technician was on time, polite, clean and explained what needed to be repaired and completed the task as quickly as possible to avoid any extra charge for going over the hourly rate.

    HVAC not cooling

    Mike was very efficient and thorough. Love the shoe covers. He also cleaned up and vacuumed in the unit.
