    Replace valve in heating unit in condo

    The repair person evaluated the problem and fixed it carefully but promptly. He was also friendly and considerate.

    Replacement of heating unit (pump, thermostat, hoses, etc.) in my condo.

    My heating pump died right after the first cold spell we had recently. Phoned Thermo Cool Mechanical and they were super responsive (thank you Tina!). They gave me the first available appointment and offered to move me up the schedule should someone cancel. The technician, Jamie, showed on time, super knowledgeable and professional. Given the upcoming second cold spell, he did everything he could do to replace the unit ahead of it. Thank you Jamie! I am very happy with the company. That old adage - "you get what you paid for" proved itself true again. Excellent job guys!

    Installation of heat pump unit

    Service was impeccable! The customer service respensatice was very pleasant and explained all necessary details. The service technician was quick and clean. He was able to diagnose and offer same day install of my new heat pump unit. I would strongly recommend Thermo Cool to any new client.

    Furnace no heat during the coldest winter in 60 years

    Technician came to test the function of the heat pump. Nice enough fellow, but was on the phone getting help. Said he needed to take out the heat pump and 'bench test' it to find out what was wrong. And they didn't know when they would bring it back. Every 4 years my heat pump fails and they take it away. Every 5 years my heat pump seems to need replacing. I've replaced it twice in 10 years. Thermocool replaced this heat pump 4 hears ago, so here we go again. Got a second opinion and the other company will repair where it sits. No need to take it out. They will just move an appliance out of the way and fix it. Run when you hear 'bench testing'

    HVAC Repairs

    Very courteous and professional. Technician explained what he was doing and why, and helped me understand the HVAC unit and what I might expect from it's remaining useful life based on his experience with similar make/models.

    Thermostat replacement

    With the change of season in late October it became clear my heating wasn't working (standard condo heat pump, about 15+ years old). I called Thermo Cool and Pina was very polite and professional in arranging an appointment for the next day. A few minutes later she called back to say someone was in the area and could be there within the hour if convenient. David was there not long after, and determined a new thermostat was needed. He had one on the truck and installed it, made sure it was working, and cleaned up - the whole process was complete within an hour and a half of my first call. Very satisfied with the team at Thermo Cool and highly recommend them!

    Heat pump replacement

    A mistake was made by them for making an appointment - and I had to hear why I was being ‘difficult’ when I was questioning why appointment I made was cancelled with no reason...anyways, the final result was voiding an intial service (diagnosis) fee which was nice but still felt like a lot of hassle when I’m paying thousands of dollars :( The service itself was satisfying - fast and clean work but customer service really depends on who you get on the phone.

    Thermostat and fan coil

    The technician was very thorough and helpful. He found the issue with our fan coil and thermostat within an hour. Would highly recommend to others especially those in condo units.

    Heating bump
