    Igniter for KitchenAid gas oven

I just wanted to say thank you so much for your quick service. After speaking with you on Sunday, the part was delivered on Tuesday and we were able to get it installed and working Wednesday. After being told by every other place that it would be 6-8 weeks before I could get the part, you came through for me and to top it off, you were less expensive. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

    Miele Dishwasher Repaired Yay

I used RepairCare for my Miele leaking issue and got it fixed on very same day visit. I got the same high level of quality service as before when I had my fridge fixed by them in summer. The office people were very friendly and helpful and the technician knew the problem right away and did the repair quickly.

    Washer Fixed

My faithful Whirlpool washing machine of 20 years stopped halfway through a cycle. No amount of tinkering and pleading helped. I called Electrolux and arranged an appointment for the next afternoon. As promised, the technician (cleverly known as Eddie) showed up early with a bright, positive attitude. He asked a few questions, looked inside the misbehaving washer and saw the partially filled tub of dirty water. Five minutes after leaving him to tackle the problem, he informed me that all would be well by replacing the "swinging door." (Filter related, I believe). The only concern was if he had the needed part in his van. The answer was yes, and he proceeded from there. I'm completely satisfied with the service provided. Eddie was on time, personable friendly and exuded confidence. As a result, I'd recommend Electrolux as a highly professional company that, at least when it comes to backed-up washing machines, impresses.

    Washing machine repair

The follow up from the office was great. I was not able to go ahead with the repair in the end, for a personal reason, but will definitely contact this company when I can go ahead with it and for future work.

    Technician

I am very satisfied with their services. The technician was prompt on time he even came earlier than the appointment time waiting on my drive way. He was very mannerly and a pleasant person. I explained about the problem I'm having with the dryer and he immediately pulled out his tools and diagnosed the problem and he found the dryer switch was defective. Fortunately for us he had one in his truck and he installed it immediately. I was very impressed with the technician he is very knowledgeable and he knew exactly what to do.

    Problem cancelling parts order

Error code on Miele dishwasher. The serviceman appeared promptly and advised that two parts were needed - cost $245. He made a point of checking somewhere on his phone to make sure the parts were available and advised that they were and would be available in 5-7 days. On that basis we placed the service order and paid half the costs (about $250). A week later we got an email saying the parts were back ordered. I immediately cancelled the order (I bought a new dishwasher and had it installed the same day), and asked for a refund for what I had paid over and above the $120 service call fee. They said OK, but there is a 30% restocking fee. I said - how can you charge a restocking fee when there is no part to restock. After going back and forth, they relented and refunded everything I asked for. Moral of the story - do not place a service order until they confirm in writing that the parts are available, and do not agree to the restocking fee (which they admitted was really a cancellation fee).

    Answer from pro:

Thank you for your review and letting us know about your experience with our company Tim. Again, we thank you for letting us know how you feel. As we let you know the supplier charges us a "restocking fee" when we cancel a part order, whether they ship the part or not and we pass it on to the client. In you case the company absorbed the "restocking fee" and we absorbed the loss. Unfortunately due to COVID, manufacturer and suppliers are not working at full capacity and parts are delayed. Unfortunately we have no control of when the parts are available to us or the information they provide. Again, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Because of you, we have made the changes to be more clear as to the cancellation fees when quoting the client. At RepairCare we strive to be fair, professional and ethical at all times. Thank you so much for helping us get better at what we do. Stay safe! Best Regards, RepairCare Team Don't Pull your hair, Call RepairCare!

    KitchenAid refrigerator temperature repair

The fridge alarm was sounding, advising something was wrong with the temperature. The bottom freezer was quickly increasing in temperature (14 to 40 degrees within an hour) and everything within the compartment needed to be transferred out. After thawing I closed the freezer drawer and temperature began to decline down to 0. However the light would not come on. Repair Care tech determined that the start of thaw was from improper closure earlier and that the melt would not allow the door to close properly until a complete thaw was done. The electronics for the light socket was damaged and the unit needed to be repaired. All was working within about 1 hour. The Tech also gave me some valuable tips about operation of my KitchenAid dishwasher which has improved the cleaning.
