Given the wet spring this year, we came home one day to a massive pool of water in our basement. We contacted several waterproofing companies. Of the four we approached, Terry at Direct Waterproofing was the first to respond. His quote was detailed and he took the time to explain the process. It was only leaking along one wall and he confirmed that we only needed to do that one wall and a portion of the other. Another company suggested we have to do the entire basement at an exorbitant cost. We had just moved into the home, so funds were tight and Terry did offer a potentially cheaper interior alternative which we declined - we wanted the exterior done.
We agreed to go with Direct Waterproofing and Terry confirmed he could start in a week. On the day of start-up, he showed up exactly when he said he would with his crew of three guys - Sergey, Roman and Walter. These guys worked harder than any crew I have ever seen and got the entire project done in a day and a half. Terry budgeted 3 days just in case of unforeseen issues so we were extremely pleased to see it completed sooner. They even sloped the area around the foundation such that water wouldn't accumulate along the foundation wall. AND, Terry even asked his crew to help us remove an old clothes line which was cemented into our backyard.
Needless to say we are extremely happy to have found Terry. Our basement is dry now :) IF we ever have a leak along any of the other walls, we know who to call!
