    Diagnostics - AC not cooling

    My Ac was not cooling. They performed the Diagnostics and found that the compressor would not start and was locked. Then the fellow was able by tapping to get the compressor to release and operate so we can start cooling the house and get relief from the heat. The fellow was very patient in explaining all the details and that he was unsure of long term use and was looking into warranty coverage.

    Friendly and understanding

    Called them for pool heater problem. Guy came and in 20 seconds, solved the issue - which the pool company should have taken care of...but that's another story. Anyway....still had to pay, so got him to clean out the pool heater, check the furnace, advice on a couple other things. Friendly, fair, straight-to-the point. Will likely call them in October to service our furnace.

    Furnace & A/C service

    Summers And Smith Cooling & Heating Ltd has been my service team of choice for heating and air conditioning for about 8 years. Their office staff are friendly, professional and honest about timing for arrival of their service technicians. The technicians are professional, they show up on time, and are always very friendly & knowledgeable and provide honest guidance on what needs to be repaired or replaced. I really appreciate this company's approach to service - they remind me when I need to think about booking but instead of sending a flurry of emails, they send one notice or give me a courtesy phone call. They are reliable, approachable, reasonably priced and just an overall pleasure to work with.

    Friendly and efficient service

    Terrific service for our annual A/C service. Technician was on time, informative and exceptionally helpful. Provided useful advice and product installation for noise reduction. Would definitely use the Summers and Smith team again!

    Replacement of heating & air conditioning

    Had a great experience with this company. Brad and David did the installation. It took most of the day and they were both very professional and explained the system and gave me tips on how to maintain the system. They cleaned up the site thoroughly before leaving. Andrea in the Aurora office was also very helpful as was my salesman. Thanks to all.

    Air conditioning installation

    I sat down beside two of their employees at the Home Show in Aurora and booked an appointment for the first Monday- it was a delight to talk to them, and even more with the one who came to my home to measure and talk over details. They showed up right on time and right away they discovered oddities in my electrical work - something I couldn’t quite pinpoint but they discovered in seconds - something that could have ended tragically had they not been vigilant. I was able to get an electrician right away and all of the problems and more were solved. They worked so hard and were so friendly and supportive - I have both a furnace and air conditioning with this company and I would never go anywhere else. They are consummate professionals.

    Lennox Pule 21 Furnace Issues

    Had a problem with an older Lennox Pulse 21 furnace starting erratically. Called Summers and Smith, and they arranged to have someone come out the same day. The tech quickly diagnosed and solved the problem. Thanks!

    two new heating coolin systems

    Quoting and rebates were very clear. Delivery was on time, professional, clean and equipment is first rate. Overall very happy except for one minor problem. The installers were to make some final adjustments to the duct work as part of the work order that has not been completed yet. Tested the sales team and left message at sales office and no response to date.

    HVAC Maintenance

    We have always relied on Summers & Smith for all of our HVAC installation and maintenance needs. They have done work for our parents for years, so we know them to be professional and trust worthy. We recently had a concern regarding our furnace. They arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and were able to make the repair without the need for a follow up appointment. We would highly recommend this company for installation and repairs.

    retrofit home from electric baseboards to natural gas furnace,central air

    Great company and excellent team starting with Dave and Micheal, coordinator and energy consultant who were very professional. The installers Scott and Andrew were very knowledgeable and conscientious in their work of retrofitting ductwork in a finished small 2 storey home which had it's challenges. I am enjoying my cozy well heated home. Thank you and I would recommend your company, Johanne
