    Water Heater

    My previous water heater stopped working and even had no hot water pressure. I called Summers & Smith late in the day. They provided excellent, prompt, competent and friendly service at my home in York Region the following day and installed a new water heater. I'm very happy with their service and the product they installed.

    Replacing the Furnace

    On Sunday evening Dec.29th our furnace broke and I called a technician to fix it. Unfortunately I needed a new one. I got a quote that same evening and on New Year day a new one was installed. The technicians (Pat & Scott) arrived right on time, laid-out all protective carpets down to the basement, remove the old furnace, installed the new "Daikin" furnace with new fresh air and vent pipe, a new humidifier system, etc. Very efficient, very friendly and knowledgeable technicians. The work was completed in less that 5 hrs. Very satisfied with Summers and Smith professionalism, reasonable price and service on New Year Day. I highly recommend this company.

    Split system installation

    The installation was very well done, the technicians were very competent and careful at home. I was impressed with the cleanness of the job, and the pride they take in their job. So far, after a couple weeks, I have no issues. It was a very expensive installation, and so far I received a wothwhile service.

    Service call for furnace

    Summers and Smith serviceman arrived on time. He put shoe covers over his boots to keep our floors clean. He was courteous and kept me informed as to what he was doing, what the issue was and how he would fix it. I would recommend Summers and Smith for any heating / cooling need, big or small!

    Fireplace Service

    Start up and cleaning of gas fireplace. Very professional service technician and on time with Appointment. Satisfied with work and cost was reasonable. I would recommend company to my friends.

    Professional service

    Had my furnace maintenance done. Technician was professional unlike previous company. Timely and respectful. Having them back for fireplace repair. Love that I got my quote electronically for approval. Good first impression.

    thermostat replacement

    Summers and Smith are a professional company often go above and beyond. I'd recommend them to anyone. Polite, friendly and professional technicians that have come for furnace and air conditioner maintenance, no complaints, just compliments.

    Furnace and Fireplace Maintenance

    I've had Summers and Smith check my furnace and gas fireplace for well over 10 years and have always been more than satisfied. Their technicians are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have always taken the time to explain how things work - like my new remote for the fireplace. They take their time and leave the area clean. All question are answered. I truly trust their expertise.

    Replacing the Chimney liner for the furnace

    When Enercare came for an Annual Air Conditioner Service, the tech said that the Flue from the Hot Water Heater to the chimney was backing up. Of course Enercare said that they do not service the Flues and Chimneys. I got a reference for Summers and Smith. I phoned them at 8 am on a Friday. They called back within 10 minutes and had two techs out by 10. They checked the Flue and chimney access and checked the chimney on the roof. It was the chimney liner that was causing the problem. They checked with their provider, got a liner and had it installed by 1 pm. The service was timely and quick and wonderful.

    Furnace checkup

    One of the most reliable companies we’ve ever done business with. technician Kristian arrived on time, explained each step of his service . Was neat and left everything in good shape. Would highly recommend Summers and Smith to anyone.
