Replaced all my windows
BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!
I've never in life had such horrible service from a company before. Especially when you are paying 11k for something.
10 windows replaced in my home, all of them triple pan LoE.
I would read all the low rated reviews before signing anything with this company. This is not our first time having windows redone in a home we've owned but it is a first time using window mart. I have learned my lesson the hard way and wish I never went with them.
First off, there is a HUGE LACK of information in regards to the government rebate. Once we sent them our deposit, it was almost impossible to get a hold of anyone from the company in regards to the process of how to take advantage of this rebate. It was sold to us by Sergio as " we take care of everything for you" which is why we went with this company. When calling the number before our installation we were advised that we followed the process correctly, only to find out after the installation, that no, we didn't. Yet, they also had no record of our conversation.
I had requested to speak with someone from head office and called twice a week for 1 month leaving messages with no reply back EVER!!!
This is our first winter and any Albertian would know, as of Jan 1 2024, it's been a pretty mild one. Our 3 bedrooms on the upper level last winter in -35 would hold a temperature of 18, while the rest of the house was at 19.5. These windows were original to the house. Now that we've replaced the windows, the 3 upper bedrooms hold an average temperature of 12 and we haven't even hit our real winter temperature for an Alberta winter yet. At first I thought, ok, lets get the ducts cleaned, that's been done and still, we can't keep our kids doors closed at night because of how cold it get in their rooms. The lowest was 8 last night, Jan 6th 2024, in my 4 years room. She crawled into my bed at 3am because she was so cold. I have made several attempts at contacting the company over the last week with no call back. I've now emailed them a picture, which I have added, showing that my window on the outside is leaking, water is dripping down our siding from our window seal. This picture was taken at 7:45 just as the sun was rising. This can't be normal. I understand that condensation on the inside of the window is completely normal but we have MOLD growing in the 3 windows on the upper level and it's a pool of water.
SO BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!
