These people are a phenomenal level of unprofessional. I absolutely will not recommend this company especially if you are in the Halifax region. They didn't bother wrapping up any of my furniture and promptly proceeded to keep bashing it against several surfaces. I had to plead with then to assemble any furniture despite the fact that they hadn't even worked for the three hour minimum that they bill you for. The highlight of the move was when I pointed out the extensive damage to a very expensive table. They took pictures and the head of the Halifax branch promised me that he has gone down to my furniture company and personally ordered the identical table. He will have it delivered within a week. It's been well over a month and he refuses to answer my calls and I certainly don't have a table. The real kicker is the company hasn't even sold the table in over two years. Upon calling Metropolitan movers, they initially told me to deal with it directly with my mover and now they claim my complaint has expired. My biggest regret is not blocking the credit card payment as soon I saw the damages.

Leon helped me out with my last minute move, he was able to arrange a last minute crew to cover for the mover who canceled me at the last minute. Leon sent out two great guys that did an amazing job warping and moving all my furniture and boxes.

I just want to thank Metropolitan Movers for making my move such a painless process. Leon and Olik were punctual, professional and personable. They ensured all my furniture was well wrapped and packed securely in their truck. I was beyond impressed with how quickly they unloaded my stuff from truck to elevator to suite. They also helped me set up large pieces of furniture in quick time, which I am so grateful for. I would HIGHLY recommend Metropolitan Movers to anyone. Great job!!!

Overall rendered good service.On time as per schedule though they lost their way while arriving at new location.However they with our help could make it by two hours late.All is well that ends well.

Gary and his team did a great job moving my office furniture, pictures, etc. They were very polite, organized, and I was confident as soon as I met them that the move would go smoothly. I would recommend them anytime and will hire them again.

The team was fantastic, efficient, very conscientious, and very professional. We were contacted twice prior to the move to confirm everything. On the move day, they organized the packing of the truck in such a way as to eliminate damages to any of our furniture. The move out was seamless, the move in also went very well.

Mike was extremely hardworking, polite and efficient. Paul, the lead mover, spent way too much time on his phone, taking smoke breaks, and a thirty minute bathroom break at my new house without even asking which bathroom to use. I happily provided coffee and timbits in the morning and pizza lunch in the afternoon, but Paul still had the audacity to ask for a cash tip. Considering that his constant distraction made the move take longer than required, I refused. I've worked with Metropolitan Movers in the past as other movers were incredibly efficient and amazing!

Drivers arrived late, took their time to load truck, carried one 2 lb box at a time. Only spoke Russian and spent more time talking to each other than working. It took us 5 hours to load truck and driver 2 hrs away. It took them 5.5 hours to load less than half of the boxes that we sent up. They added an extra hour to the drive. The delays and slow service cost up an additional $500.
