Broke my furniture
I live in Mississauga and hired Metropolitan movers for my move. They sent 2 men for my move. One of them was very rude and he broke my furnitures while disassembly and when then he requested to buy L bracket support to assemble the furnitures. He completed assembly using L bracket. He was hurrying to finish the job as they had next appointment. Another team member was respectful and moved my furnitures carefully. Simple furnitures like coffee table leg was broken. I am disappointed and will surely let my friends and family know to NOT use Metropolitan movers.

Moving from condo to house
Mike was great. He came on time, assessed all our items to be moved and carefully handled each item. Moving from one place to another was quick and easy with Metropolitan movers. Thanks.

Move within Ottawa
The 2 movers took pictures of every possible existing scratch before the move and had me confirm them. They did not wrap the furniture until they moved it in the truck. I wanted to remove a railing because the staircase was narrow but they insisted it was not necessary. When they finished unloading they took me in their truck to show there was nothing left. The lead mover asked me if I was satisfied with their service. I said yes, because they were friendly and courteous. He pulled out a crumbled piece of paper to sign. He did not have a copy for me. As soon as they left, I noticed there were several scrapes on my $7000 dining table and chairs, rips in the back of my leather couch and ottoman, and a broken handle on my dresser. I called Metropolitan movers within a few minutes of the truck leaving but the office was closed. Left a message but they didn't call back. Called again Monday and was told to email pictures. I never got a response to my email. After repeated calls, I was told I was no longer insured because I had signed off on everything. I asked for a copy of what I signed because I never received a copy. I thought I was signing that everything was unloaded and the number of hours. They said they would send the paper I signed but they never did. I would never recommend this mover!!!

Stress free moving experience
These Movers are fantastic! My wife and I moved last weekend, and we could not have been more pleased with our whole moving experience. It was the most stress-free of my life (and I've moved well over 35 times!). The movers are genius at getting furniture in and out of apartments, no matter how narrow the door or stairwell of the building and they had 5 flights of stairs to run up and down at our old place. They wrapped our furniture with blankets and really secured everything well - from glass doors, a full-length mirror, TV etc. I would recommend this moving company to anyone - amazing service, very speedy and considerate of your belongings at a reasonable price!

Horrible...
WIll never use these movers again. Although their hourly rate is lower than other movers, you will pay for it in other ways. Showed up late, BROKE SOME OF OUR ITEMS. When we confronted them about it, they denied it, alleging that the items were not packaged properly and making up some other excuses. They were very slow, you could see that they main concern is to drag everything out as long as they could and charge us more money. When the bill came, I noticed that they charged us from the time they arrived to the time they left. THEY CHARGED US FOR THEIR LUNCHES AND NUMEROUS SMOKE BREAKS.

Moving service
I had my first move with Metropolitan Movers and I'm surprised of how flawless everything was performed. From beginning till finish my moving experience was stress and damage free. Affordable rates as well, much better than the other company I've contacted before them. Really satisfied of how things turned out. Will use them again if I move!

My Successful Move!
They took great care of my stuff, disassembling and reassembling two large beds and a tricky dining room table. They gave maximum effort and got the whole job done in just 7 hours total, at a competitive and honest rate. I will call them again next time I move.

Moving service
Highly reliable moving service. I moved two times with them over the last 7 months and they were always reasonable, personable and easy to work with. Their group of mover is simply outstanding and I can't recommend them highly enough. They even changed schedule in last minute due to some personal problems of mind. Really appreciate it. Great, highly professional moving company!
