    Appliance repair

    Had trouble with washing machine and stove in a rental property. The technician, Danil, was very Good, reliable and very professional. This helped as he was on time so I was not kept waiting at the property and his communication to organise an appointment made it easy.

    GE Refrigerator Repair

    Evgeny of Max Appliance Repair arrived at our home as scheduled. After moving our 36" GE refrigerator, he diagnosed a twin problem whereby the machine occasionally turned on, but only kept the freezer cold when it did. He kept me informed as he was working, discussing the issues regarding the three circuit boards in the machine. Two of them had become faulty. He sourced the parts and got them within an hour, and had our machine up and running. He also suggested replacing the fan motor, which had become stiff with age. We had called for service Sunday, he was there Monday morning and we were up and running Monday afternoon. Evgeny was pleasant and professional at all times, and impressed me with his knowledge. I would recommend both him and Max Appliance without hesitation.

    Washing Machine Diagnostic and Drain Pump Replacement

    Pros: Less than 12 hour turnaround. A technician was at my door on a Sunday and to my knowledge, they did not charge a premium for this. Technician diagnosed the problem quickly (the drain pump in my front loading washer had broken and needed to be replaced). I would say the entire job took under 75 minutes. He was able to replace the part on the spot. Cons: Fee was a bit steep. Part was likely charged at $149, and labour was $100/hour but there wasn't a clear breakdown on the invoice so I can only guess. There was also a sneaky 3% service charge for taking a credit card. Had I been informed of this I would have arranged for an e-Transfer instead.

    Fridge repair

    Dumitru listened to my description of the problem, and then he methodically investigated the issue. He suspected the coil but then based on my description checked and confirmed that the starter was faulty. He fixed it quickly, put everything back together, and gave me a chance to clean up before we put it back in place. He also explained the warranty, and what to do if it fails again. He was very professional and I highly recommend him and MaxAppliance.

    Very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient

    Dishwasher repair. Samsung ‘E9’ error. Ev gent was very helpful and friendly. He did not try to sell us on new parts. I would recommend to other friends and family.

    Installation of a wall mounted microwave

    I called Appliance repair at 1:30am on a Saturday and requested an electrician ASAP. Within 10 minutes they called and said that someone would be there between 1am and 1pm. Their technician, Evgeny Pankratenko, called me shortly after and said he would be arriving within 30 minutes. He arrived on time and I explained what needed to be done. Before he could install the unit, the ventilation fan needed to be turned around from wall vent position to ceiling vent position. Evgen was most professional throughout the job. He explained everything he was doing, had all the tools necessary for the job and finished the entire installation by 1pm. He was punctual, friendly, professional and was a very good ambassador for his company. I would recommend him and his company to anyone needing this service. I also appreciated that fact that this service was provided on a Saturday, when several other service providers who had been contacted prior to me calling Appliance Repair had either failed to answer, or could not provide service before Monday. Very impressive - I highly recommend them. Mark R

    Dryer Repair

    Excellent service, quick and easy. Fair prices for expedited service. Dumitru was great to deal with. Called and got an appointment same day, repaired the next day. Will use again.

    Dishwasher repair

    Dumitru arrived and repaired my dishwasher the same day I called. He was professional, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Max Appliance Repair. I will definitely call again for any appliance services in the future.
