    Dryer control board replacement

    PROS: Ver happy with the quick and efficient installation of the control board. Roman (the technician) was friendly, clean and helpful. CONS: A lot of back-and-forth calling when ordering the new part and scheduling installation. Interface between the call center and technicians could be improved on.

    Washer

    Washed my clothes three times and still dirty. Called the repair company who sent technician within hours. Parts arrived next day. Great service

    fridge fixed, motherboard replace

    Washing machine

    Before you call them, you should know they do not have customer service so do not expect warranty, good job or even talk to a supervisor. Only a call center I had washing machine with stop in cycling issue. They send me technician with no experience with brand new tools. he turns on the machine and checked it then search on internet for how to fix it, then asked for instruction manual to see if he can find the answer later called someone every 5 min for what is the next. I'm a handyman and work at big factory so I learnt how to check or fix problem of machines. For washing machine, you need expert because parts are very expensive. If you change wrong part, you will loss about $400 After 40 min play with control panel and unrelated parts like release stuck door system (no problem with door function) finally he opened the top. checked the valve while he did not unplug the machine and touched the panel so got a shock. At this point I asked him to close it and leave it. He said I checked all parts problem is the control board. I will call you and let you know the cost. Control board is very expensive I asked him are you sure he said yes and we warranty our job. After 3 days I did not hear from him. I called other company and they fixed it at reasonable price. Problem was something else. I called Max for refund couple of time and owner supposed to call me back but never happened they made $100 for nothing.

    PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME BY BUING APPLIENCE FROM STORE .

    I feel compelled to warn my fellow consumers about the abysmal experience I had with Max Appliance Store. In search of a reasonably priced refrigerator, I decided to give them a chance despite some negative reviews I had come across. Unfortunately, my decision turned out to be a regrettable mistake, and I urge others to avoid wasting their hard-earned money at this establishment. Max Appliance Store claims to sell open box refrigerators, but what they delivered to me was clearly a used unit. The refrigerator showed evident signs of wear and tear, including scratches, dents, and even some lingering stains. It was not what I expected from an open box product, and it left me questioning their integrity as a business. To make matters worse, the refrigerator did not function properly even after they claimed to have repaired it. Despite their efforts, the appliance continued to malfunction, leading to spoiled food and wastage. I approached Max Appliance Store's customer service seeking a resolution, but they displayed a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. Their customer service was nothing short of appalling. The owner, in particular, was rude, dismissive, and displayed a complete lack of concern for my dissatisfaction. The unhelpful and mean-spirited attitude I encountered left a lasting negative impression on me. Moreover, Max Appliance Store refused to compensate me for the food that had to be thrown out due to their faulty product. Their lack of accountability and refusal to address the financial loss I incurred only added insult to injury. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against patronizing Max Appliance Store. Their false advertising of open box items, poor quality products, and utter disregard for customer satisfaction are clear indicators of an unreliable and unscrupulous business. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, and financial loss by seeking out a reputable and customer-oriented appliance store instead .In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to steer clear of Max Appliance Store. The subpar product, lackluster repairs, terrible customer service, and the owner's mean-spirited demeanor are all red flags that should not be ignored. Protect your time, money, and peace of mind by choosing a more reputable and customer-friendly retailer for your appliance needs.

    Service guarantee isn't worth the pixels used to give it

    After waiting three days for their "fast" service, they finally showed and repaired my washing machine (inlet valve and new membrane). They had to remove the door to replace the membrane and re-attach it. Now, barely six weeks later, the door latch code suddenly showed up and my machine doesn't work. So I called for a follow up. Aside from the person who answers the phone not letting me finish a sentence, I managed to understand that sure, they'll come out to look at it for a $99 service fee. I asked why I have to pay a fee if it's a result of their work? Can a technician call me to discuss first? I don't want someone coming here to say we have to pay even more to have it fixed (which you just KNOW is going to be the "recommendation" and when I say no, they say $99 plus tax please. So bottom line - buy a new machine the first time if you plan to use this company because it will end up being cheaper in the long run.

    Dishwasher repair

    Alexander came the same day, was very polite and did a due diligence check till he found the problem (malfunctioned soap dispenser).

    Stove repair

    I was extremely impressed by the Max Appliance Repair team. Service was prompt, courteous and very professional. I am extremely pleased with the result and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends. The cost of repairing my Bosch stove was also quite reasonable.

    WORST COMPANY DO NOT USE THEM

    This is the absolute worst repair company I have ever dealt with. Save yourself the headache. I had the technician at my home 3 times, he completely ruined my fridge. I had $400 worth of food that spoiled, he kept telling me I needed new parts and it cost me over $600. I had to call another company to come and actually repair the fridge. WORST service ever.

    Good As Broken

    I had an issue with the dishwasher door spring and clearly shared this along with the model number in advance. The assessment cost $100 to come to the same conclusion. They had to order in the part, when it arrived and it was installed, there was barely a difference and they claimed that was all they could do. So instead of telling me that the part wouldn't really fix the problem, I got charged another $300. It broke, whatever of it was "fixed", shortly after. The service person was nice, but this is ridiculous.
