We had an issue with our dishwasher leaking and water dripping through the floor into the finished basement. Yaro from Max Appliance Repair came the next morning, assessed the problem and went out of his way to obtain the parts he needed so that he could repair the dishwasher and have it up and running the following day. We thought our washer was leaking as there was water seeping underneath it. Called MAX yesterday and today someone came, checked the machine, and told us it is fine, but it is a plumbing leakage issue. Found him to be very honest, as he could have tried to fix something on the washer but didn't. We will need a plumber but at least now we know. He came earlier than the appointed time but checked first to make sure that was okay. Very professional, friendly, wore a mask. Impressed with the prompt response to my request for a quote; less then 24 hours.

technician disassembled top of machine disconnected electrical connectors from main board and diagnosed it as defective, need to order new part and pay me now for it. Technician to return in two days with part. I tried the machine the following day and it functioned normally and has been ever since. I believe that the machine sitting unused for a period of months had minor corrosion on the connections which was removed/cleaned when the connectors were removed and replaced. Technician was advised of this when he came back. Part paid for, $281, has never been installed and is still with Max Appliance although they say it has been restocked at a cost of 75% and now they want a second service call to be paid for to bring me the part that was never installed, used or even needed. They owe me money and refuse to refund it. I have offered a solution and Max Appliance has totally disregarded it. I cannot in good faith recommend this organization. They have been advised that I will post this review on all the consumer sites that I can and have not even responded to that. This company is not to be trusted to deal fairly with you, choose another one.

My fridge was not a straight forward repair. So when two days after the first two parts were replaced, and the fridge stopped working, they immediately sent out the repair tech to do further assessment and order another part. They did not charge me for the additional assessment or part. The same repair person did all the work. He was polite, professional and conscientious. He was very honest and explained everything he was doing. I appreciate how professional and customer service oriented the whole company is. Now with the additional part, the fridge is working. There is no guarantee, but they have assured me they will take responsibility. I am really pleased with the service and have a lot of respect for the company. I would definitely recommend them.

Alwx G arrived earlier than his time slot. He wore a mask the whole time, diagnosed the issue and did a repair quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend this company, they are fast and reliable with reasonable prices. Thank you so much.

I have a Samsung washer, and it had displayed an error code. After trying everything I could think of, I contacted the company, who said it needed a repair person. I found Max Appliance Repair on the internet, and Alexander Goz came out right away. The part was ordered immediately, and A. Goz came back within a couple of days. They really understand the importance of getting a washer working as quickly as possible. Highly recommend this company.

He came for a 5min servuce call to tell us the issue we made him $60. He said he would call us and update us on the part. I messaged him and he kept saying i eill call u tomorrow he never did he then at one point i called snd was not even sure about the part or the service and then said he would call me and nwver did. He then stop answering my call and text. So basically this guy makes his money from the 5mins he comes for the service to tell u the issue then never followsup. He is not professional Also i do not know why my postal code shows incorrectly but my job was done in mississauga dundas and glengarry area

Vlad was great. Very pleasant, called ahead to confirm his arrival time, worked efficiently and, best of all, fixed the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to engage his services again. My initial call to Max Appliance gave me a positive feeling and Vlad's work reinforced it.

They charge twice as much as they should and add an additional bill for $70 more if you don’t agree. They worked for less than 45 minutes and charged $195.00! They said they don’t work by the hour.

terrible technician. had no clue what he was dealing with or how to diagnose the problem properly. he forgot how to put the shelf back into the fridge and proceeded to scratch the interior and to round off the screws with a nut driver (not a screw gun). Said new compressor was 2-3,000 dollars and requires the fridge to be removed from its position. None of this was true. also said he would call next day and i have not heard from anyone.
