    Great Service

    Thanks JK for your excellent customer service. He was very knowledgeable, professional and extremely patient with all of my HVAC/thermostat setting questions. My home is now warm and comfortable and most importantly running efficiently for these cold months ahead. Thank you Empower Home Comfort.

    HVAC Servicing

    Empower sent a technician, JK, out to help with an AC-air handler issue I've been having for a while. He located the issue and promptly implemented a solution. He was respectful and patient while answering all of my questions so I had a great understanding of what he was doing and why.

    Very Thorough Maintenance

    Malek came to my home to perform annual maintenance on the American Standard Furnace which I had purchased from Empower. I was very impressed with his thoroughness and professionalism. He took a great deal of time ensuring that the furnace was working correctly and to my satisfaction. My experience with the technicians who are employed by Empower to maintain HVAC systems has been consistently excellent, literally miles beyond my past experience with Enercare. I highly recommend this companys maintenance plan. Its expensive but the work is good.

    Nice job , perfect work , friendly giys.

    Guys were hard workers , did clean up , explained operation of devices , overall very satisfied.

    Unprofessional, didn't fix, felt very dishonest

    Air conditioner fan wasn't blowing. Technician came, looked and concluded it might be the circuit board for $700, but that *I might want a new furnace*. I said let's try the board. About a week later he calls...seems like it's going to be a bit more, probably $1000. Do I still want to do it? I said yes. Two weeks later I've heard nothing. I call the original tech who has no idea...says he thought someone else had already installed the board. Next day I get a call....the board came in! Suspicious timing. I schedule the earliest appointment which was almost a week later. A new tech comes to install the board. He has no idea what's wrong with the furnace and has to get the whole story from me and repeat the diagnostics. Surprise, he comes to the conclusion that we should replace the circuit board, and he just happens to have one ;) THEN HE ASKS ME HOW MUCH THE BOARD COSTS AND WHAT THE LABOR ESTIMATE SHOULD BE!! I said I don't know, the price went up over the phone not on paper. I propose that he ask the previous tech, but that person is "on vacation". Once again it's proposed that I should buy a nice new furnace from them. I say I'll go with the original suggestion and try the board. An hour later he comes up....."sorry sir it didn't work". I ask him what my options are and he says that it's $1k for the useless board. But of course they can waive that if I buy a new furnace. I tell him that he got me for the $1k and congratulations for that. But I won't be buying a new furnace from these folks. On the way out I ask him if he left the old board. He says no, he isn't allowed to. I said no, I want the old part please. We go back and forth and he says he will have to call his manager. I say fine, and finally he relents and gives me the part. At this point I have zero trust. They can't fix the furnace. They can't even remember that I exist without me calling, or keep track of the stories they are making up to sucker folks to forget about repairing and buy a new furnace. No idea how these people got such good reviews on homestars. Never again.

    Outstanding Service New Heat Pump, Furnace, Full System

    I am so glad I chose Empower via HomeStars and it's clear to see why they are rated so highly. Himanshu was incredibly kind and patient and answered all of my questions thoughtfully and in a way that made it easy to understand. Empower offered competitive pricing and the full package, arranging for the Eco Home Audit as well as the installation of the heat pump, furnace, air filter, humidifier, attic insulation and more. Farzad and his partner were diligent through the installation process, as there was a lot of work to do upgrading a 21 year old mid efficiency system to a high efficiency heat pump. The area was left clean and neat and they patiently went through all of the upgrades. This is a recent installation but so far I am quite impressed with how quickly everything is coming together. Cost reflects rebates, however it might even be lower when everything comes through. Himanshu started off the process with quality and care that has been exemplified by all staff so far.

    Terrible service when needed the most

    Installed new furnace and Carrier heat pump. First summer and the Carrier heat pump isnt working (with a code weve never seen before. After 5 hours of tech trying to fix, we are stuck in 30+ degree temp without relief and now no new appointment for the next 4 days. Unacceptable for a brand new unit. Terrible service. Sorry.

    Heat Pump Repair

    We were having problems with our heat pump system (two heads) and called Empower, right from the start they provided great service with the dispatchers letting us know when the technician will arrive. JK called us to let us know the time he was arriving was very polite and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue with our system. I would not hesitate to recommend Empower to help with your HVAC problems. Thank you JK

    new furnace and heat pump / heat pump freezing when air running

    Nov 2023, I got 2 quotes for Empower home comfort for a furnace and a heat pump. I was told the Carrier brand was a better company and a little more expensive so I selected this brand. In the Winter time the furnace was great as the motor was a little better then my previous furnace however when summer came alone the heat pump in cool mode was great for the first few weeks. It kept the house nice and cool. One morning, we noticed water coming from the furnace as the coils froze on me. I called the office and within a day they promptly sent out a tech to investigate the issue. Unfortunately he could not resolve the issue so they sent out the second level support tech to test the head pump coolant. The second level support could not resolve the issue so they did sent the third level support tech that has a lot of knowledge on the manufacture's product. The third level support tech noted that this issue will be corrected due to his knowledge of the manufacture products. The appointment had a time frame of 4 hours and was told the issue will be corrected by the end of the appointment. With his intense knowledge of the product, he was able to identify the issue and correct by end end of the appointment. He has also noted that Empower Home Comfort will set a follow up appointment to ensure everything is still in working order and no added issues. There are many good qualities about this company, they will send a pic of the Tech, a bio of the tech, they will put on shoe covers when walking around the house, and the receptionist response to emails in a timely fashion. By the end of the appointment the Tech explained the issue and how he was able to address to ensure this does not happen again. He even took the time to answer some of my questions. Some issues can take place, but the company still has good qualities that many others forgotten about. This is why I would still use this company in the future.

    Furnace and Heat Pump replace

    Our furnace was making a noise, and their technician GK Geo was quick to diagnose and issue. We ended up choosing to place the furnace, and the sales person, Stan, went out of his way to give lots of choices, explain each choice, and then really meet our budget. The install crew worked really hard and did the whole installation in 1 long 12 hour day!
