    Refrigerator repair

    Maor was amazing. He came in, diagnosed the problem and immediately drove to a supplier over 100km away to get the necessary parts as well as additional ones in case they were needed. He came back the next day, fixed the refrigerator and only charged me for the parts needed and work completed, as well as showing me what he was doing/teaching me about the repair. I can't recommend them enough, and based on this experience, we'll be using them for all appliance repairs going forward.

    Samsung Washer problem spinning

    Repair man came, figured out what was needed, went out to get the parts, came back and fixed the washer all in one afternoon. I couldn't be more pleased with the repair and would recommend Gold Star Appliance Repair to anyone who needs their appliance serviced.

    Apartment dryer hose detached

    Our dryer was not working properly. The technician who came the next day was prompt, polite and very helpful. He was able to move the dryer above the washer and connect a ring which had not been installed. Many thanks for your advice and help

    Fridge not cooling - wrong diagnostic

    We have contacted the company when our fridge (2018 Samsung) stopped cooling. Alona replied promptly and scheduled an appointment with Jerry. He tested the fridge, told us that the compressor was working, and the problem might be the inverter board. A week later he came with a new inverter board, but the fridge was still not working. He opined that the fridge needed a new main board. Given that Jerry didn't seem sure of the diagnostic, we called a technician from a different company. The second technician then determined (in less than 15min) that the issue was the evaporator. The part was replaced, and the fridge is now working. The mis-diagnostic delayed the repair by 2 weeks. Goldstar invoice was issued with incorrect information under the "Service Call" narrative (we have advised them that boards were not the issue) and the wrong due dates (Invoice Date: June 21, Due Date: June 14). The invoice had with no information on how to pay it and no disclaimer that the company surcharges for credit card payments. In addition, we were told that invoice was to be sent for collection if not paid by July 6,2023. Less than stellar service. Will not recommend.

    Great

    We had a leak in the waterline to our fridge, and Goldstar was very responsive and quick at showing up: Jerry identified the problem and fixed it no fuss no muss. Very happy, will definitely use again if needed.

    Washing machine repair

    I contacted Gold Star based on their reviews online. They came the same day. The office (Alona) was great to keep me up to date. The service representative, Orel, was efficient, friendly and competent. The washer is running well. I would highly recommend this company.

    Electric range repair

    This project was about replacing the range top element switch which no longer functioned. The range is an older model so finding a after market switch was a challenge.

    Top notch appliance repair

    I have hired Maor multiple times for appliance repairs and he is not just one of the best appliance repairmen but one of the best tradespeople I have dealt with period. Friendly, responsive, and punctual, Maor always offers a fair price for excellent work.

    Dryer and vent repair

    I would highly recommend Gold star appliance repair, I had some issue with my dryer not heating properly and not drying well. The technical came on time and diagnosed the appliance pretty quick my dryer vent was fully clogged also the heater element was broken and weld to the cabinet. He replace the element and clean all the vent on spot and my dryer back to normal i was sure im going to end with the new one but Gold star save me time and money I've to appreciate the honesty of those guys. Thanks again!
