Professional from beginning to end. Not to mention what a fabulous job Chris and crew did to make our grand oak tree look neat and very presentable. They did exactly what they thoroughly explained would be done- cleared all dead wood and did some major must needed trimming. Very please and satisfied customer!!!!!

after contacting a few tree removal companies, someone mentioned Chris and his company. When we first met to go over the work that needed to be done I felt an instant connection. He is very straight forward - what you see is what you get! On the day of the work, Chris and his co-worker were on time - a good start. He has great communication skills and was easy to deal with. There were a couple of additions and subtractions from the original estimate and we were able to easily agree that the price would remain as originally quoted. The job was done on time with nothing but the best service. He and his co-worker handled the job professionally and no mess was left behind. I would highly recommend him.

So. Just gave my woodlot a close shave, including removal of two dead elms. Both dangerous, one more than another. Hired the Higher Place crew, based on the professionalism at contact and detailed written quote.. So they arrived into the street like ninja's - big truck with a big chipper. Didn’t hear them - which is good - no disturbance to neighbors. I’d set the alarm and they knocked exactly on time, but by then they were already staged. We quickly reviewed the work. Two removals - one seriously dangerous. Pruning of 4 mature Silver Maples. I watched them as the crew of 4 worked. Two up top, two below. They cleaned as they went. In constant radio communication for safety. This was like watching a SEAL TEAM TREE take out a target. Efficient. Clean. My Neighbors wouldn’t likely ever have know they even there, the clean-up was so well done. What impressed me was the way the team maneuvered from one task to another with such precision. No wasted motion, no false steps, At the same time: fully aware of team safety. Including proper safety attire, equipment and tool safety at all times. I was also impressed with their tool respect. Tools sharp and clean and stored properly at all times. Tool respect tells a lot about a professional. I see more sky than I was expecting and the old ladies I love will hopefully thrive for a few more years .. But I digress. Fair price. Very professional. Will hire them again for similar service without hesitation.

Chris did a great job removing a pesky Ash tree from our property and we were thrilled with how quickly he worked. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for tree removal. He explained exactly what he was going to do and despite having to grind a root down, he left no mess! He even put a board up to protect our neighbours lawn to ensure they didn't have any debris on their property. He provided friendly service and was able to come and provide a quote right away.

Called Chris of Higher Place Tree Care to see if he could take down a large old tree damaged and tilting from a storm asap. He was referred to me by someone I knew. Promptly took my call, came to see it and and had it down the following day and pretty effortlessly I may add . I can say it was due to his skill at tree climbing. Uses rope and tackle gear to go up the tree and get to all the branches and take them down with the chainsaw and ropes he carried with him and a helper on the ground. He also did additional work on another larger tree right after that one on last minute notice and again in the same effortless fashion . Cleanup was thorough and everything taken away on the spot. Professional ,personable and very reasonable in his prices he's my first choice If I need any tree work done.

During his first visit, Chris inspected our mature maple tree, discussed possible solutions to taking weight off some of the limbs to let in more light, and to making the tree more stable. The follow-up appointment was punctual and very well organized, the tree got its healthy "hair cut", and the clean-up was quick and accurate. We are very happy with Chris's work and expertise.
