My neighbors' two very large trees had large branches that were hanging over my backyard and needed to be pruned. I contacted a few services but went with Christ due to knowledge and suggestions on how best to manage the situation. He was a true professional, who was reliable and punctual. At the last minute I asked if he could also prune my front tree and he was able to accommodate at a very reasonable price. Quite the feat climbing up those big trees and pruning back those branches. It feels really good to promote company like Higher Place Tree care - very friendly and great customer service. Thank you Chris.

Quite satisfied with the work and the transparency. What I was asking for (a more expensive job), Chris actually advised against. Instead, he provided his professional opinion on what he would do and asked if I was ok with proceeding. When it comes to searching for businesses that are experts in a field i'm completely ignorant to, I always deeply appreciate this type of transparency and goes a long way. Reached out to a few tree care specialists and ended up going with Chris and his team -- excellent communication throughout the entire process, came when they said they would, did a great job with both of our trees, and left our place cleaner than when they came. And they were super flexible, even took care of a few extra branches when they were here -- really pleased with all aspects of their work! Wouldn't hesitate to reach out when we need work done, will definitely use their services again! Just a note, our trees were located in the backyard, so they had to navigate a shared laneway as well as tight parking, and they dealt with all of it beautifully. Our neighbours appreciated how clean they left everything afterwards!

In an effort to help a elderly family member manage a backyard full of large, old trees left untrimmed for almost 30 years, I went in search of the ideal professional who would give me an honest assessment of the work required, find the best strategy to meet the needs of the homeowner and provide me a fair estimate for the work required. I can sincerely say Higher Place Tree Care was the company I was hoping to find. First and foremost, Chris had the credentials I was looking for in a subject matter expert. Second, he understood my concerns and was able to formulate a plan for the most critical work to be completed immediately with recommendations for additional work to be completed at a later date. Finally, throughout the process, Chris was the consummate professional, he was courteous, punctual, and replied to all my enquiries in a timely fashion. The date the work was scheduled, Chris and his colleague arrived on time, completed the work in a timely fashion and left the site spotless when they were finished. I appreciated their emphasis on safety and was impressed by Chris' ability to maneuver around high up an extremely old black oak tree pruning large limbs - in order to remove deadwood and reduce weight toward the home and garage. Finally, the invoice was detailed, easy to read and matched the estimate given for the work to be completed. I would retain Higher Place Tree Care again without hesitation and gladly recommend Chris to anyone to care for their trees. Had a very dead and very compromised tree the previous homeowner left us to deal with. Tree was in a difficult spot to access that required us shutting down the road, getting a specialized crane, and hiring officers to manage the road closure. Chris not only did an excellent job removing the tree but also navigating and pushing through all the hoops the cities beurucracy sets up for us. I was talking with a number of aborist and only chris seemed to be able to get expedited actions from the city for this job.

I hired Chris and his team to trim some very large trees on my property and right from the initial contact they were a pleasure to work with. Chris showed up on the agreed upon day and time to review the work and provide an accurate and competitive quote right on the spot. Chris and his guys showed up on time on the agreed upon day, were very professional and courteous with my family and I as they setup and were respectful and polite to our neighbours. The work was done quickly and safely. Afterward Chris cleaned up both my properly and the neighbours properly, where some debris had fallen. I would use Higher Place Tree Care again if the opportunity presented itself in a heartbeat!
