    Excellent Company

    I bought a new house with an undisclosed damp basement with some specific challenges - high water table, old basement, thin floor. Because of the issues, I wasn't able to fully move into my house. I called a number of companies and had a few visit but Darby immediately demonstrated knowledge of the issue, and had extensive experience in my neighbourhood. He was to the point, reasonable, and client focused. I decided to waterproof all 3 sides of my semi. The team started the work during an unexpected deep freeze/snow storm and they were hard working, mindful of the work space & my neighbours, and efficient despite some tough conditions. I would highly recommend them for good quality work, fair prices, and respectful service.

    Sump pump installation

    The Mud Monkey crew were very professional, courteous and quick. They cleaned up their work area completely, showed up on time and did the job at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

    Waterproofing basement

    Our neighbour decided to concrete the back pathway with a slope towards our house! The first big rainfall sent water and mud into our basement. We heard of Mud Monkeys through a friend. They came very quickly to assess the damage and came up with a plan. Unfortunately there was no room to fix the problem from the back path, so they decided that the best option was install a barrier in our basement back wall. The work was completed in 2 days with as little mess as possible. The crew was courteous and polite, very nice guys. They did a great job, cleaned up the mess very well and we haven't had a problem since. I'd highly recommend Mud Monkeys for quality of work, punctuality and competence. A bargain too, for the work that they did.

    Waterproofing / weeping tiles

    We used Darby and his team for our waterproofing and weeping tile replacement of our very old home and can not say enough about the service. They were respectful, prompt and are skilled at what they do! I had questions after the work was completed and Darby prioritized my concerns, returned to the house and alleviated my worries by fully inspecting what turned out to be nothing! He is a pleasure to deal with. Since they did our waterproofing we have had zero dampness in our basement! Highly recommend!

    basement waterproofing

    Our basement has leaked for a long time Mud Monkeys had a plan that fixed it. The workmen were professional and answered all of our questions. They arrived when they said and actually finished the work early. They also guarantee their work.

    Exterior Waterproofing

    We had exterior waterproofing done, which took about 2 days. Darby and his team were great and I would recommend them to anyone. I also needed window wells in my narrow driveway so that the ground level could come up high enough to slope away from the house without blocking the windows. They cut the window wells down so I could still get my car through the driveway, and the backfilled dirt and gravel was sloping away from the house. After driving over the backfilled dirt and gravel for several months, a trench developed while the dirt settled. We had a big rainstorm and rain pooled in the trench, but the basement stayed dry! I called Darby who came within the week to top up the dirt and gravel (at no charge) so that it once again sloped away from the house so that water no longer pooled in it.

    Great waterproofing!

    Great communication and great work! Mud Monkeys did a wonderful job helping me with some minor basement flooding in my old home. They also helped coordinate the installation of a sump pump with a local plumber. Highly recommended!

    Underpinning a semi

    I was very anxious about the project, but Darby immediately made me feel confident that it would go well, and it did. The whole thing was a lot less disruptive than I thought it would be. Darby was always available to me and helpful with my neighbours (very important when you're underpinning a semi). Darby's team of workers, which included his son Zack, were polite, friendly, respectful, and kept the place as clean and organized as possible. I actually miss having them around now, but at least now I have a deep, dry basement! Highly recommend.

    Waterproofing

    Darby and his crew were very honest and listened to our concerns and made some clear recommendations for our basement waterproofing project. And the overall follow-up service by Mud Monkeys on some issues that we were concerned about was excellent! My wife and I were very pleased with the overall work and the final successful result. We would highly recommend Mud Monkeys for good, honest and hard working positive results for your waterproofing home needs.

    Waterproofing basement

    We hired Mud Monkeys to do the waterproofing work for us as they had been recommended by a friend. We had a flood in a fast melt during March and so the wall needed to be sured up for the future. A crew of 3 young guys came to the house, dug out a trench about 3ft wide and 15ft long by hand, then they waterproofed the wall, re sealed everything, refilled and put in a window well. The mess was minimal considering the work that was done and the finish was professional.
