Wonderful workers
Mud Monkeys are a great crew to have in your home. They are respectful, informative, clean (as much as possible) and a real pleasure to deal with. Darby always responded quickly to any questions we had, and he dealt with the sometimes-confusing aspects of digging out a 100+ yr old house with experience and aplomb. If I had another basement to dig out I would definitely hire them.

Excellent quality and price
I have nothing but high praise for Darby and his team. This was our third project with Mud Monkeys for (in two different locations), and this time it was an interior waterproofing job for part of our basement and cold room. Darby made the whole process so easy to manage. He is such a professional and knows how to address the quirky and often complex water problems experienced by the owners of old Toronto houses. The project started and finished on time, and the guys did a great job of cleaning everything up at the end. Darby's prices are extremely fair and competitive. You won't find a better option in terms of quality and price. Many thanks to you Darby - it was a pleasure working with you again!

Top notch work and customer service
Darby's commitment to customer satisfaction and doing the job right sets Mud Monkeys apart. I had the length of one wall of the house externally waterproofed. The crew worked quickly and did a great job. When we encountered a problem, Darby went above and beyond to make it right. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Foundation Waterproofing
Darby went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the end result of our waterproofing. This is the model of reliable and dependable contracting; Darby and his crew always showed up when they said they would, whether it was to quote, do the work, or follow up with gravel and fill months later to top up the expected settling of the fill around the house. The cost was reasonable and in line with other quotes received. I highly recommend Mud Monkeys.

Another great job
I had Darby's crew back to waterproof my remaining un-waterproofed basement wall. This wall was different, I had it waterproofed internally. As usual they did a fantastic job: thorough, professional, clean and swift.

Lower Basement Floor
We are very pleased with our new basement floor. It has made our basement so much more useable. The work was done on time and budget and the quality was very good!

Waterproofing, Bench Footing, New Floor, etc.
These guys were great, from start to finish. Very professional, affordable and friendly. The quote was fair and didn't change. They oversaw the project, including bringing in plumbers to change the clay pipes, and an engineer to sign of on some structural work that we needed. Everybody they brought in was great and the project was stress free. We had them do bench footing vs underpinning as that was what we could afford. We have tons of ceiling height now. They also waterproofed, including a weeping tile and then poured a new floor. We now have a dry and spacious basement ready for finishing. We're very happy with our MudMonkeys experience.

Waterproofing
We had a great experience with Mud Monkeys. We waterproofed the long side of our semi in East York. Darby and his team were extremely professional, communicative, and finished the work on time. They left the job site clean each day. I would recommended them to anyone.

Basement Sump and Drain
Professional service and happy with the final product save for a few issues ... 1. HVAC duct was broken during demo and never fixed. 2. Electrical was cut through with a pick axe while digging the trench. 3. Sump pit was installed without lid so it is near impossible to open/close i.e. the concrete pushed the sump pit into an oblong shape. The first two weren't major issues because they were fairly simple and inexpensive fixes. The last one seems like a novice mistake for a company experienced in sump pits. Nevertheless, happy with the service and price.
