Reliance Home Comfort reviews (13630)

Reliance came out to replace tank, made a huge mess and didn't clean it up. They left on friday, and there was problems with water. Had to call them back, they sent another subcontractor who was a gas installer, he had no idea why he was even there. Called reliance back 3 more times, finally 5 days later i get a call from subcontractor telling me they can't get there until Friday to look at their oringal mistake. Reliance is useless! You have no recourse, can't even call another vendor to get it fixed and get reimburshed, have to wait for their "approved" contractors...horrible service!

Matt Merhar from Reliance Sudbury called first, showed up on time, and was very thorough and knowledgeable. I feel he went above and beyond to provide great service. He changed my tank, the connections looked very tidy, and he completely tidied up after himself, he even wore booties over his boots! When he was finished the work he also took the time to explain the new tank to me and how to adjust temperature as well as what to do when I go on vacation. Good customer service seems to be getting harder to get these days, this guy deserves a raise!

Mohammed Wasay just left after quick, polite and informative service. After cleaning our tank, he advised us on our options for upgrading and took the time to answer our questions.

Had a lot of water leaking from our boiler. A technician named Ringo came next day to find out what was going on, was friendly and informative. Boiler was fixed same day without waiting for replacement parts. Would recommend.

I paid for Reliance Home Comfort Protection Plan- it's a monthly fee. Our furnace broke down in February - yep the middle of winter. It took over a week for Reliance to get the thing working. We stayed at our parents. Reliance contracted the services of Canadian Air Systems when they arrived, the wrong part had been odered. They got the furnace to work but it still needed another part. They told us to leave the thernostat in one place until the part arrived. Well, it's now April and despite the fact that I've called Reliance twice to get a resolution; nothing has happened. I don't recommend that you purchase the monthly Protection Plan.

James, the Reliance service guy, identified himself clearly,was professional, knowledgeable, did a thorough review of our furnace, gave clear answers to our questions, explained other services available from Reliance, and replaced needed parts in our furnace. I think James represented the excellent service provided by Reliance. Thank you.

Filter was not working properly So technician GURMEET came and help us to understand the problem and solve it quickly. He is very Punctual, service quality provided by him is excellent. I really appreciate his work.

Mohammed Wasay explained our situation in simple terms and offered a solution for us. Our water heater is not the issue as we originally thought. I am very impressed with the service call!

Ringo Lau was an amazing Reliance 'Trusted Advisor'. He did not give up on finding the root cause of why we had no hot water. He went above and beyond. I am very thankful!

Garment has done a good job of checking the suspected leaking issue of my water tank. He was friendly and professional...I can now have a peace of mine with his help...thanks.
