Ok so I have been a customer for over 10 years. Never had any issues with my equipment aside rent a hot water tank and furnace. I recently bought a new house and kept my old home to rent out to a family member that was in need. Before moving out I had Reliance come do a inspection of the units every thing as I was told was ok. On the 3erd month my tenant was forced to call Reliance as thehot water tank was leaking. Reliance sent out there service company to fix the problem. The tech came in and tagged out not just the hot water tank but the furnace as well and then just left with out saying why. I then spent 2 weeks just trying to figure why this had happened. Multiple calls were placed on the mater just to end up speaking with multiple people who most of could not speak proper English or did not understand the English language. They would send techs to the house with out gi ing proper instructions to what had to be done forcing the tech to leave and yet again leaving me to call Reliance again to rebook another appointment and once more have to fight with someone on the other end of a phone that does not understand there job. Once we finally got the new hot water tank installed it was time to work on the furnace and have it relocated why they could not do it at the same time as the hot water tank is beyond me. Finally I was able to find someone in the company that was going to help get the furnace working once more but now all of a sudden they require a credit check after being a loyal customer for over 10 years. Turns out my credit dropped because I just bought a new house as it does for everyone making a larg purchase as such. Reliance then tells me because my credit score dropped they could not rent me a new furnace and I could pay 125.00 to have it removed or leave it there for free. What do I want with a broken furnace that does not work really. After being a loyal customer for over 10 years this is not the way to treat your customers especially a customer that would pay for the entire yearly retail fee in one lump sum so. I get my score dropped due to buying a new home. But at the end of the day I always paid the bill. I recommend finding another rental company out there to due business with as this company is a joke. Now I have to fight with them to arrange to have the furnace removed and will more then likely be multiple calls to get this accomplished. I paid over $9000.00 in the last 10 years for there serves just to find out that the furnace would have only cost me 1500.00 to buy new my self. STAY AWAY FROM THEM save your self the hassle.

Quick appt for air conditioning repair. Identified problem immediately and fixed quickly. Have used many times.

Broken kitchen faucet that created water damage. Called Reliance and a plumber was at my house less than 2 hours later. Friendly, knowledgeable and skilled plumber helped address my immediate problem. Had a replacement facet available and explained everything during the repair. They also recommended and called a restoration specialist during our visit to set up a free assessment of the water damage to my drywall. Incredibly satisfied with the high calibre of service and resolving the issue with a quality product and installation.

We received call technician was on his way. Arrived in 10 minutes as promised. Very friendly. Replaced the part quickly. Air conditioning is back to cooling. Seamless! Thank you Reliance for your continued great service! Highly recommend!

Called Reliance to fix my central air conditioner. Reliance outsourced to On Point from Stouffville who in turn sent a newbie who didnt know what he was doing. He used a metal screwdriver to touch two points on the capacitor (which was the issue) and shorted my thermostat, the ac circuit board AND the furnace circuit board. Tried to sell me a new unit and when I refused they charged me $112 for coming out and destroying my system. I called a smaller independent contractor who replaced the capacitor, the thermostat and all the circuit boards cost me $1,700.

This year's annual A/C Maintenance was done by Vincent. He was courteous and professional. Vincent thoroughly checked both inside and outside components of our A/C system. He patiently explained to me the test readings, compared it with the standards and provided me a status report. He serviced, cleaned the A/C assured me that the unit is in good working condition. Vincent readily gave his number if I will have concerns in the near future.

I called the customer service of the Reliance this noon and the representative was friendly and booked a service call to have a technician come and replace the old water tank in the afternoon. I am thrilled and happy with their efficiency and professionalism. Thank you Robert (the customer service Rep) and Kirsan (the Technician) for your great customer services!
