    Furnace purchase

    Mike Macdonald exhibited professionalism and knowledge during the sales process and more importantly he delivered on every commitment he made ( timing for receiving quote,meetings,install). he is an asset to your company and is clearly " customer focused".

    furnace

    I have both my furnace and a/c covered by Reliance's protection plan which has been the best decision I have ever made. During the last cold snap in mid-January my family and I awoke to no heat. I called Reliance immediately and described the problem. We were scheduled for an appointment the next day. When I advised that my husband was just beginning radiation treatments for cancer at the time she advised she was very helpful and compassionate and made sure that we received service the same day we called. It turned out the ignition switch within the furnace had failed completely. The service technician had the part in his truck and replaced the part in 10 minutes at no cost. We were warming up 20 minutes after he arrived. I cannot thank Reliance's staff and managers enough for prioritizing our call as my husband cannot tolerate the cold and their efforts made a real difference to us during a very difficult time.

    gas water heater

    Our rental water heater was failing to keep up with demand. The call back was very fast, and the courteous efficient workers came the next day and replaced it with a new tank. Couldn't ask for more. Only thing I would change is I wish they had told us they had to leave the cardboard packing behind.

    New furnace & tankless water heater

    The old furnace was on its last legs. The repair person that did a quick fix in December recommended I start shopping around. It was a "when" not an "if" that the furnace was on its way out. A friend recommended I get a quote from Reliance as part of my research. I called the sales dept and arranged an appointment. Mike Zevallos arrived on time. Yes, exactly when he said he would be here, he was at the door. Mike's a technician, but they have him running around town doing sales. He's extremely knowledgeable about his products (Reliance) and competitive products. He's able to describe features and benefits in a way I could understand. He calculated costs and energy savings. And introduced options I was interested in... like the tankless water heater. I didn't feel sold, I felt as if a friend had dropped in to give me advice. He's based in Brampton... I'm in Pickering. I researched other competitive products and Mike kept in touch. Efficiently, not intrusively... and he answered my many questions patiently. In the end, it was a no-brainer to do the deal with him. We chose to rent... the numbers made sense for us. The installers were excellent. And everything as well organized. There was a snowstorm, and the laid runners from the front door to the furnace room. Mess during the process was minimal. And the place was cleaned and vacuumed before they left. My wife was so impressed. Mike did a follow up check this morning. Once again. Very impressed. How great the equipment is, time will tell. However, if you want to meet a well organized, really nice person who will work with you to determine the products that best suite your needs, call Mike at Reliance. Big Fans!

    Heater service

    Very glad to shop there because they gave the best price I can find, and nice people too. I will send my sons to buy there too. Thank you very much.

    Furnace repair

    It was going down to -30 below Celsius and my furnace was acting up. Trouble ahead was evident so I called Reliance because we have a contract for Furnace Maintenance and Repair. The repair man showed up and changed the electrical computer start on it at no charge. That would have been at least an $800 fee. I was more than delighted, I was warm and very satisfied with my choice of companies and my plan. Thank you Reliance. I am telling everyone about this experience. P.S I live in North Bay but your list only included Sudbury which is the closest city in Northern Ontario...

    furnace shut down

    I signed up for the Reliance Protection and Maintenance plan. They have serviced the furnace and AC twice for regular maintenance And I just recently had them in for my furnace that was'nt working - no heat. There service was within 2 hours of my call and the technician was able to correct the problem in very short order. The vent fan was on a "silent recall" for the particular type of furnace that I had, but he had to do some digging to get to that answer - he was not going to stop until the problem was resolved. Summary - Quick, professional,and determined to correct the problem - well worth the cost of the plan!!!

    new furnace - a/c - humidifier

    Our old furnace quit on Wednesday January 15th. We had a sales rep here on the 17th who sold us on a fancy dancy furnace with a/c and humidifier. The install happened on the 18th of January. First there wad a mysterious piece of metal in the burner that would glow red when the furnace was on - this was removed. The furnace would not shut off and the techs were numerous times to try and resolve the issue since install...the problem was finally rectified Jan 30th. Did I mention that the furnace condensation hose was not connected and flooded the inside of the furnace and the area around the furnace? Now...Jan31st...the humidifier is not functioning and has not been since install. We're playing the waiting game for parts again! "Home Comfort"..?

    Replacement of heating/cooling

    The two guys, Mark & Mike, were on time arriving at our home and dead nuts on time with their estimated completion time....very professional, organized, courteous and skilled.... the entire experience starting with Dan, to the completion with Mark & Mike, was efficient... I have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend Reliance services to anyone.

    Faulty Intelli Vent

    I had no hot water, checked out the hot water tank to see if it had been unplugged. The controller indicated a fault. I called Reliance and they immediatly set up a service technician to come by the next morning. It was Steve, he came the last time we had an issue. A total proffesional, explained every thing he did and why the hot water did not work.
