    Water heater service.

    To the entire Reliance Home Comfort Team. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent service that we received. I called Reliance to come have a look at my water heater which was not working properly. I called at about 2:00 p.m. A service technician arrived right on scheduled time. I am totally satisfied with the service we received. The service that we received exceeded all of my expectations. The service repair technician that fixed the problem is a very knowledgeable person. Thank you once again for the excellent service that we received.

    Installation of replacement 636 venting to the hot water heater

    The service man, Joey D (#0977), arrived on time. He was extremely pleasant and performed the replacement piping very well and with extraordinary speed. His focus on efficiency and safety was apparent. Very satisfactory work, to say the least.

    Replaced Hot Water Tank

    The technician did not arrive in the specified time frame which is unacceptable when you have to stay home to wait for him. When I called he then arrived 1 1/2 hours later. The service technician was excellent once he arrived.

    repair hot water heater

    We noticed Sunday at noon that our water was tepid and called for service. We were told someone would come on Monday between 1-5pm. Someone finally showed up at 4:45 and replaced some parts. I had a hot shower that night. The next morning (Tuesday), the water was tepid again and was also leaking all over my basement floor. I called for service and this time I was told a service man would come on Thursday, but after some pleading, it was changed to Wednesday between 1-5pm. The guy showed up at approximately 2:30 and replaced the water heater with a new one. It was up and running by dinner time. So in 78 hours I managed to have 1 hot shower! Needless to say, I was unhappy. Had I called someone out of the yellowpages, it would have been much quicker. Reliance - time to hire more people!!!

    New Furnace

    I called reliance to come have a look at my furnace which was not working. They sent me technician Adam Walker, he had a look at the furnace and determined that it was operating safely and suggested I rent a new furnace from Reliance, I went ahead with his recommendation and had a new furnace installed, everything has been great so far! Thanks Adam and thanks Reliance for offering such great service!

    New furnace, air conditioner and tankless water heater

    We called Reliance, among others, for a quote. Adam Walker came by and proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful in our decision making. The install went as planned. The installation guys were great - all three items installed in one day !! Adam then followed up a couple of days later with a phone call - something I really value. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Furness

    Jordan Burton was the sales man. he was excellent. not pushy at all, and very professional. I had no heat and he got me a funess fast. Good Job Jordan, thanks so much

    New furnace/air conditioner

    When Reliance failed to service my old furnace adequately, I inquired about a new unit. Glen Greenway was in touch with me right away, his boss phoned me to discuss my dissatisfaction with their service group and we came up with an agreeable solution. I signed a contract on Monday, and Wednesday my new unit was professionally installed and operating efficiently.

    furnace repairs

    At 10:00 am on Nov 8th I called for service to our broken furnace. I was told a technician would be there on Nov 9th between 7:00am - 11:00 am. I called at 11:20am when no one showed up. I was then told the times had changed to 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Home reliance has no respect for anyone elses time. The customer service gave me a bunch of excuses about weather, which it was 58 degrees that day, then they said they were over booked. That is not the customers problem. If you are selling monthly service contracts that you cannot service then you are robbing us customers. If you are over booked then hire more technicians. But to give such outlandish wait times is outrageous. To have your customer service be so 'fake' and 'condesending' is just poor service. How is it the customers' problem that you are overbooked? how is it a customers problem that you cannot service the contracts you sell? If you have poor management then take care of it don't tell us custmers your tales of woe. The only good thing that came out of this experience was the technician, Paul Chattarpaul. He was kind, courteous and very knowledgeable. He took my frustrations into consideration and lucky for me even had the part in his truck to fix our furnace. This has been a lousy experience dealing with your company. Mr Chattarpaul was the only good thing to come out of it. Very professional. Perhaps you can learn something from him.     Repair furnace and replace water heater

    I have a service contract with Reliance for the old furnace that I own and also rent the water heater. Because the furnace was only working intermittently, I phoned Reliance and made an appointment for the next day. After checking out the furnace, the serviceman ended up replacing the thermostat to make the furnace work properly. At the same time, the serviceman pointed out the leaking water heater and suggested that I get it replaced immediately (same day) as he felt it could burst. The furnace man did all the arranging and the water heater was also replaced. I do appreciate the extra steps taken by the furnace man.
