    Air Conditioner/Heat Pump Purchase

    I got overcharged by their sales rep Harpreet. Do not do business with this guy. He sold me an air conditioner with a heat pump for an outrageous sum of money. The deal involved me giving them my rebate for a reduced cost of the unit (some reduction in cost!!!). My gas bill used to be app. $180 in the winter and my energy bill used to be $60. Today my gas bill is $180 and my energy bill is $160 because the heat pump runs when the furnace is running. I don't think you could call that energy efficient. In summary I am not running my heat pump in the winter therefore I have purchased something that I overpaid for and have no use for

    Terrible experience

    Terrible experience. Way too expensive. Will leave you hanging. We waited over a week for parts to fix my furnace during sub-zero temperatures. Even though I rented from them, they refused to replace the unit and wanted to wait for parts instead. Nice right? And they charge way more than the mom and pop HVAC companies with the position that they offer great service. Ask yourself, if your furnace broke down and there were no parts in stock, what would your expectations be? Replacement since there are replacements are easily accessible in their warehouse? Or order parts and wait days during freezing temperatures? I can't understand how there are positive reviews on this site. Other sites have really poor ratings. Take a closer look at the positive reviews. They are very light on details or for very basic things like annual maintenance. A company is judged on the difficult stuff, not the basic customer service calls. I do not recommend.

    Air Conditioner

    Also doing business as an ONTARIO INC. numbered company. Do not do business with this company. After coming to our home as we paid the insurance for our air conditioner we were told it could not be fixed and were convinced to rent a new one. We were not told that a $7500 lien would be placed on our property. We were never notified of this. We happen to find out during a search of our property. This is outrageous and unacceptable! Be aware consumers! This is bad business practice! I have tried to call and speak to someone and I keep getting passed around from person to person with no answers or resolution. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

    good for me

    Old furnace was acting up. Reliance responded within 2 hours and found that the secondary exchanger had a crack which rendered it unusable. Salesman was here within 30 mins and the new furnace was installed the next morning. So far everything id great

    New furnace and heat pump install

    This company is a joke. They subcontracted the installation of a new Train Furnace withe a matching new Heat Pump to LG Home Comfort of Mississauga on January 11, 2024 and we have experienced a number of problems. 1. Exhaust pipe from furnace leaking water 2. The hole made to the wall leading to the heat pump was not sealed. 3 The snow stand we paid for with a 5 ton heat pump was not installed 4. The heat pump is vibrating and the new A-coil is very noisy which means we cant use it as its very loud throughout most of the house. Three service calls made since installation date and 16 days later the heat pump noice is not corrected. I would NOT recommend using Reliance or LG Home Comfort

    rental equipment

    I have rental equipment from reliance home comfort, I have been charged for protection services on this equipment for the last 12 months every time I try to get this resolved the C/S states we have fixed it. Only to find that they charge me again the next month

    No service provided

    I paid monthly water heater rental fee ~$30/month to Reliance for years. I have never get the inspection service. The company just wanted to charge the fee and never provided service.

    Rental of filter and humidifier gone wrong

    Renting a furnace humidifier and chlorine filter for the kitchen for over 2 years. They never sent the filter replacements that are due every year despite multiple calls. I decided I'm done with them and wanted to buy out. The units are basically $200 new. I was told I was on a 7 years contract with 5 years remaining. Buy out is $2100. More than 5 times the equipment price. I'm also on a protection plan. Twice I called for a furnace issue and the tech had no clue what was wrong despite a clear error code on the furnace board. Once I called for furnace maintenance, the tech did his job and inadvertently clogged the drain pan leading to the AC flooding my basement floor which I had to replace. Stay away.

    Reliance will not call us back and our Boiler hasn't worked properly for 3 months

    Old boiler was leaking constantly and we replaced the parts many times before but it was heating the whole house. We decided to just get the boiler replaced and rent from Reliance most feasible way at the time to pay for a new one. It was replaced in November. It was set up(piped) incorrectly and it was leaking gas for a good Month before that was fixed. After the Gas leak and the piping were "fixed" The heating started working upstairs but still wasn't working in the basement. We have had technicians in 12+ times still to no avail. We have been trying to get someone from management to call us back for over a month now with no avail as well. We just want the boiler out of our house and to go with someone else.Very disappointed with the customer service and the professionalism of this company. Will be reporting to better business bureau DO NOT RECOMMEND.

    Furnace Installation

    Our furnace suddenly stopped releasing hot air and we got same-day diagnosis from Ali who was wonderful to speak with. Also same-day we spoke with Monesh at our home about what options we had for replacing the furnace. Very informative, incredibly helpful and understanding, and a joy to speak with. The warranty that Reliance offers is also top-notch and the dedication to working with customers is very appreciated. We will be continuing to work with Reliance in the future if we ever run into issues with our home or if we need to replace anything. 10/10!
