After resisting the urge to install air conditioning in my condo for years, I broke down after a lengthy heat wave. After checking around, I contacted Reliance to get a quote and I was not disappointed. Due to the high volume of requests for new systems in Calgary, the person that came to see me had just flown in from Ottawa that day! He spent nearly an hour ensuring a ductless system would work in my unit and gave me several options for payment I didn't expect. I definitely recommend considering Reliance if you're in the market for an air conditioning system!

Had a problem with the AC unit, couldn't turn on, no blower communications. Reliance technician came the next morning following service call, very prompt. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained in details. The circuit board handling all signals had issue. A new board is installed. Problem gone!

We had a humidifier installed in the winter and there were issues with the connection to the thermostat. It took three tries but Reliance fixed the problems at no charge. How a company handles problems is a big indicator on where you should take your business. Our thanks to Nick methodically working through the issues and to Reliance for making it right.

I called to book a repair consult for my AC unit. Initially I was impressed as Reliance said they could send someone the same day. Nobody showed up and nobody called. I called in the next day and the booking agent apologized, said there was no notes in the system as to why a tech did not show and they rebooked again. Again a no show with no call!! I called in again and was told the repair person tried to find parking but couldn't so they left. I live on a residential side street and there is a fire hydrant directly infront of my house and I have a parking pad that was empty. The agent tried to rebook me for 3 days later and I declined. For a company this size I would expect a much better system and set of processes in place for communicating with customers.
