    Service boiler

    Pressure relief valve let out water and didn't stop, service tech checked the whole system and routed the hose from valve to floor drain. Made sure that everything was working well and explained what was going on and what he had done. Very professional, personable and confident about his work. A very positive experience.

    Disappointing customer service experience

    Extremely disappointed with the customer service from Reliance in Cambridge, ON. Original installation had numerous issues; it was impossible to get anyone with authority on the phone who could rectify the problems. Sales rep and manager never returned calls; I was ignored and finally gave up. Now, six months in, I scheduled my first maintenance call - had to wait six weeks for someone to be available! Now, the day before the appointment, Reliance cancelled, saying they were too busy with breakdowns. I get that a customer with no heat may take precedence, but now they want me to wait two more months for service. I was told that I could get service tomorrow though if I called back and said my new furnace wasn't working properly. Ridiculous! Reliance only seems to care about making the sale; their after sale service leaves a lot to be desired! I would be hard pressed to recommend this company.

    Hot water tank

    I had no hot water for over 24 hours. I called Reliance and the Technician was there within 3 hrs that same day. He diagnosed and fixed the problem right away. His name is Barry. His customer service and etiquette was very pleasant.

    Service

    The furnace stopped working. Luckily we had the service protection plan and all parts and labour were covered. The part had to be ordered and arrived in the evening and was installed first thing the next morning. The service person who came to my home was excellent.

    Lien?

    Bought the furnace and air conditioner package in March 2015 and paid it off in full within 6 months. Fast forward 4 years...were moving. I discovered on a title search that a lien was placed on my house by 2035881 ONTARIO INC for more than the value of the package (over $10K) immediately upon purchasing the units. I am moving in 13 days and I now have to have this lien removed...I'm several hours in for phone calls and still no where. Reliance claims there are no supervisors or managers to talk to and they say no one can be spoken to in their legal department. DON'T BUY OR RENT FROM RELIANCE Mike in Hamilton

    Water heater

    My water heater wasn’t working it took 3 days and multiple customer service reps to have someone deal with the issue. Side note customer service hung up on me. Bad experience

    Great service

    Jordan came by our place in a pinch and provided excellent customer service. Very knowledgeable and very quick to respond. Resolved the issue quickly and to our satisfaction Highly recommend!

    New furnace and air conditioner

    My wife and I were most impressed by the professionalism and thorough work ethic provided by Vince and the two-man work crew as they replaced our old furnace and prepped for our new air conditioner in six hours.

    Unclogging bathroom sink and tub drains

    I have the plumbing protection plan, which gives me complete peace of mind and saves me from unpleasant surprise costs! I saved 270$ today because the plan covers me for what I need inside my home. Great job, Stephane! Thanks for your expertise, I appreciate it.

    Furnace maintenance by Reliance

    Jay (reliance worker) called and gave a 30 mins heads up. He was quick, efficient and explained everything that he was doing. I would recommend him and reliance to friends and family.
