    Service

    Marcel was amazing !!! He was super nice and made sure to explain everything to me (from the problem, to how he was going to fix it, to what to expect in the next half hour/45 minutes after the repair was done). We would highly recommend Marcel and reliance :)

    New Furnace and Water Tank

    We were in dire need of a water tank as ours broke, our furnace was very old as well so we needed an upgrade. Dean came to quote us, answered all our questions and made us comfortable with the product. We will recommend Reliance to everyone.

    Hot water tank fix

    Kylle done a great job with my hot water tank. He took his time to expalin the problem. Even though it is plumbing issue since I am a long time customer with Reliance he fix the problem without any chargers. He is very professional technican . And he is a good salesperson too.Kylle try to promote product relates to relaince to avoid this kind of problem in the future.. Chami malwatta

    Water heater and furnace installation by Randy and Amir

    The installer were very excellent. Very professional and explained the process step by step to relieve any confusion. They worked very hard to restart our heat as fast as possible.

    Furnace Service Call

    We needed a service call on our furnace and excellent customer service was provided by Reliance technician Brian. He was polite, friendly and explained clearly what he was doing and why. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

    Shady and consistently incompetent

    Years of dealing with Reliance has never produced satisfactory results. Hard to schedule techs, tardy techs, and gross incompetence. Now I know I can add shady up-sellers to the list as well. Routine call with my home losing warm air but still having hot water. Tech comes by unannounced (supposed to call 1 hr prior to arrival as I mentioned on the phone to ensure I'm home), didn't even open up/look at unit, was 100% convinced it was my owned air handler that was at fault and not the water boiler that I rent from them. Didn't even bother to try to fix the problem (more on this later). A 10 minute visit with laughable troubleshooting/diagnosis turned into an immediate upsell for Reliance's "better" air handlers. Set up a sales guy to come to my place, offered me a great "deal" of $100 a month for 7 years for a unit that is valued at $4500. So a 5-10 minute tech visit turned into $8.4k over 7 years for an air handler I wasn't even convinced was broken. When I asked what happens if I pay for the Reliance air handler and the problem isn't fixed? The sales guy changed the subject 3 times. Felt kind of shady given how hard they were pushing this so I called several local HVAC contractors to take a look for multiple opinions, and paid out of pocket for these mind you. None of the people who came by (three total) said it was the air handler -- it did its job, feeding air into the system. The air was just cold, and that is my boiler. None opened the boiler because it was Reliance's unit, but each laughed at my story and say they've heard it a thousand times. Turns out all they had to do was reset the unit for the hot air to come back (at least temporarily) until Reliance fixes whatever the problem is in their unit. Laughable that Reliance techs can't do even the most basic of troubleshooting on their own units. But not surprised. So Reliance, train your techs, and stop your shady practices and money gouging of customers. I am getting out of this contract ASAP and saying bye to your garbage. Good riddance.

    Plumbing

    I have the maintenance package so there was no charge. The flapper in my toilet had warped so I was losing water. He fixed it and also checked my other two toilets to be sure they were ok. That is going the extra mile.

    Water Heater service

    Service technician Mike was excellent! Very professional, respectful of home(bootie/slippers) over shoes. Assessed and theorized as to issue(plastic smell), artificial Christmas tree debris beneath machine singeing. Excellent customer experience, would refer to others requiring service.

    Replaced Hot Water Heater

    Martin 2825 replaced our hot water heater. He was on time, very professional, and pleasant to deal with. Our tank broke on a Saturday and was replaced the very next morning. Thank You

    service call for poor hot water pressure

    Last night we had very low hot water pressure. I called the Reliance customer service phone number and they would send a repair technician between 8am and 1 pm the next day. He called ahead of time to let us know he would be there in approx. 30 minutes. He arrived before that and corrected the problem. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We were very happy with the service
